I finished reading Lacey and the grudge by passionpita on ao3 IT WAS SO GOOD. and then ao3 went down when i was trying to give kudos😔

new yj fic (JACKIENAT)

was listening to White Ferrari and this came to mind.. jackienat fic set in the wilderness!!!!! nat saves jackie so she lives (yay!) but jackie is still dealing with feelings of useless and like a liability (not yay) BUT nat is there on her side (yay again!) slowburn obvi will probably start pre-cash and then through s2 until s3 comes out (hopefully soon 😔) this is an excerpt from a random chapter (i'll be tweaking it here and there before finally posting the link on my tumblr) :

“Think we’d be something in another universe? Something prettier, like.. like a butterfly?” Jackie blurted out. A butterfly. She hadn’t seen something like that in years. 

Tears sprouted and then froze at corners her eyes because of how hard she had started to laugh until she started to choke. The air, though fresh, felt rancid suddenly. Jackie was pretty sure it had nothing to do with the remains of the bird, fresh on the ground.

“F-fuck are you talking about,” Nat shivered, her hands rubbing against each other. 

(Weird, Jackie wasn’t feeling cold)

“Did the cold already get to you? Taylor, what year is it– Fuck, what’s your full name?” She roughly patted her back in a measly way to try and stop her choking. 

“I mean,” Jackie took a step back in the snow and gestured around. ’’Look at us Nat…” Her voice was soft. “We’re not–not anything.”

This time when the tears streaked her face, they kept coming, the air proving futile to hide them.

SOOO it is a huge change from my normal type of soft happy fics surrouding lottienat but i am a SUCKER for jackienat and i wanted to try something new :)))) i'll post it on ao3 (user: brunoser which is the same as my tumblr lol) sometime this week or next week :)))) aiming for long chapters so that'll make it infrequent updates.. yeah that's it!
