I will NEVER get over how Hadestown somehow manages to perfectly transform this old Greek myth into an analogy of immigration in America. Eurydice leaving the upper world to go to Hadestown because it’s been advertised as this land of prosperity and security, only for it to actually be a soul-sucking capitalist hellscape is a tragically real representation of the “American Dream.” Orpheus sneaking to Hadestown “around the back” and then getting beat up and being told to go back to where he came from is a perfect metaphor surrounding the treatment of undocumented immigrants. Hades brainwashing his citizens into building literal and metaphorical walls around themselves so that outsiders can’t steal their jobs may not have been intended to be so shockingly relevant, but it’s still a chilling image nonetheless. Political themes in media can often feel forced if done wrong, but the way Hadestown seamlessly weaves these ideas into its plotline revolving around a man saving his lover from the Underworld is SUPER well done

Yooooo my hunch is that the show is called WANDAvision because its all wanda. Its not visions' name, its the latter half of the word television combined with Wanda because she is creating the "show" that they're watching on the outside. That's some excellent wordplay!!!!!
