If Inuyasha and Kagome lived together in the modern world it would have been so chaotic. Like can you imagine Kagome telling Moroha stories of her younger self adventures or moments with Inuyasha and Moroha calls her father a simp. Leading to Inuyasha later finding out what a “simp” is and being upset over it with Kagome trying to calm him down.

My thoughts...

The Inuyasha fandom isn’t divided by Yashahime. Yashahime is it’s own fandom and is not the same as the Inuyasha fandom.

Because anyone who actually understands and loves the characters from Inuyasha is/will be/would be fucking horrified at the decimation of everything the Inuyasha fandom loves about the characters, their personal struggles and growths, and the losses that made us cry.

I’m horrified at Sesshomaru- the man who learned to open his heart and became a father and protector after a life of hate -turning into a deadbeat father and a sick pedophile and groomer

I’m horrified at Inuyasha- the man who grew to find a family after racism and prejudice took the family he had from him -losing his chance at seeing his child grow up.

I’m horrified that Miroku- the man who grew from lecher to family man -abandoned his wife and children for power.

I’m horrified that Sango- the strong demon slayer who valued her family and clan and took no shit -was a passive housewife who just ‘let’ her husband fuck off and was barely involved with her children

I’m horrified that Kagome- the girl who crossed time to be with the man she loved a second time -was refused to see her family grow

I’m horrified that Koga- the wolf demon who loved Kagome and learned to value all life -allowed his friend’s child to be sold to slavery

I’m horrified that Rin- the little girl who found a voice and family -was reduced to a victim of grooming, molestation, had her children taken, and was sealed away.

I’m horrified that Kikyo- the woman who just needs a god damn break -wasn’t allowed to finally rest.

I can’t speak for the others. I don’t know what happened to Shippo. And I know little of Kohaku in the series. But… These people who had learned and grown so much. Every piece of character development and their strengths were stripped from them for this spin-off (It’s not a sequel to me, never will be).
