his goblin ancestory comes from his mothers side of the family

his mother, Fauna Flitwick was actually terrible at charms

his father, Hector Flitwick was a duelling master and a curse breaker

Filius first showed signs of magic when he was 2 days old, when he made everything in his room float for a few seconds

Filius went to muggle primary school (his dad was muggleborn and his mother left wizarding society due to being quarter goblin)

he was bullied for being a "dwarf" and for being "weird"

when he was 9 his father was killed in a duel

he was nearly sorted into Hufflepuff but his wit and creativity made him more fit for Ravenclaw

when he started at Hogwarts, McGonagall had only been teaching there for two years and was not yet Deputy or Head of Gryffindor (Dumbledore was before he became Headmaster)

his favourite teacher was his Charms teacher, also his Head of House

her name was Proffesor Cackle-Weather, and she was friends with Hector

she always had a soft spot for Filius

he was friendly with many of his teachers especially Cackle-Weather, McGonagall, Dumbledore and Sprout

Filius learned how to cast a Patronus in fifth year, it is a dove, small and powerful like him

he kind of reminds me of a magician

he got 10 O.W.L.s in Charms, DADA, Transfiguration, Potions, Herbology, Astronomy, History of Magic, Care of Magical Creatures, Muggle Studies and Study if Ancient Runes

before his sixth year his mother passed

Proffesor Cackle-Weather let him live with her during that time

he became close with her daughter Celena

they move to London together after Hogwarts

after Hogwarts he became a duelling master like his father at age 19

when he turned 21 he became a proffesor at Hogwarts

Celena worked at St. Mungos

they married when Flitwick was 27

they had no children

Flitwick did not become Head of Ravenclaw by the time the Marauders attended Hogwarts, but the year they left Cackle-Weather retired and Flitwick replaced him

lily was one of his best charms students

so were fred and george

hermione and draco were quite skilled too 😅

Celena was killed by Dolohov at the Battle of Hogwarts

which is why Flitwick killed him

Flitwick became Deputy Head to McGonagall and kinda threw himself into work

McGonagall is there for him as she understands his loss

he retires at 80
