Part 1 of a comic done in brownish red pencil. It shows a woman wearing a dark hijab, a doctor's coat and a stethoscope over her shoulder, holding a baby in blankets and smiling softly, her face seen in profile. Her nose has a slight bump. The baby is looking a bit to the side and smiling. She has a small amount of hair. The text above says "I am Dr. Huda Abu Khater". The text below says "I worked at Nasser Medical Hospital".
Part 2 of a comic done in brownish red pencil. With explosions and a building in the background, a tank enters the area. Closest to the viewer, a scared man is running, seen from the front and chest up. Behind, in front of the tank, the shape of a hijabi woman is clutching a baby, running away to the right. Some ways behind her, another figure is running in the same direction. The text above says "My daughter Soma was born there". The text below says "Two days later, we were bombed".
Part 3 of a comic done in brownish red pencil. With an explosion shape in the background, Dr Huda is running with Soma in her arms, both squeezing their eyes shut in fear and distress. The text above says "I carried her as I ran". The text below says "She nearly fell from my arms more than once".
Part 4 of a comic done in brownish red pencil. Soma, in her mouth a pacifier with three stars on it, is looking out from between blankets. She looks tired. The text above says "Now, she suffers from vomiting and blood in her stool". The text below says "The dirty water has given us both severe gastroenteritis".

Soma, clutched to her mother's side in a white blanket, has a small amount of light hair and chubby cheeks, smiling in the photo. Behind them, two blue-beige rugs and a pink sheet are seen making up part of the structure of a tent. Below and to the left is a dark-colored basket or baby carrier, either way lined with blankets.

These Are All Actual Conversations I Had With @mohammedayesh . In Fact, While I Was Working On Finishing

These are all actual conversations I had with @mohammedayesh . In fact, while I was working on finishing this comic today, he sent me a video of bomber planes flying above them. There is not a single place in Gaza that is safe.

I’ve been contacted by Nesma @nesmamomen and asked to share her fundraiser to get her family to safety, both the link here and her blog have extensive details of her situation and her families displacement and increasingly suffering physical health. This has been vetted by nabulsi, and @appsa has made a post about their personal friendship as well as some updates to her families situation from their correspondence.

They have reached $74,214 raised of $80,000 goal which is less than $6000 away from their target. this is INCREDIBLY close to reaching their goal and the situation is urgent. Please consider sharing or donating what you can

You'll never know how strong you are until strength is your only option."

From the heart of Gaza, these words become more true than ever. I am Bilal Abed Rabou, and I stand before you as a survivor of five wars, an academic student at Al-Azhar University and a software developer from the besieged Gaza Strip. I witnessed the devastating effects of these conditions firsthand

You'll Never Know How Strong You Are Until Strength Is Your Only Option."

We were a family, living in peace, love and warmth. But everything changed when conflict and despair swept through our lives. Living in Gaza means confronting ongoing conflict, struggling against poverty and the lack of basic necessities to live. Life is very difficult, and even the simplest tasks seem impossible. Yet, despite all the chaos and pain, we remained grounded by the warmth of our love and the strength of our spirits.

You'll Never Know How Strong You Are Until Strength Is Your Only Option."

Even six months ago, everything changed. Our once home turned into a mess and everything we cherished. Since then, we have been lost, clinging to a world of uncertainty and despair. We left our badly damaged home with only a few things. Since then, our lives have been threatened

with every passing minute.

You'll Never Know How Strong You Are Until Strength Is Your Only Option."

But now, there is no longer a reason to stay in this place full of suffering, where we are deprived of even the most basic and important rights, education, security and peace.

Our hearts hurt because of all this injustice. We were willing to endure anything to keep our family together and provide comfort and care for our father in his time of need.

With each passing day, our despair grows and our burdens grow heavier. We need your help to break the cycle of suffering, rebuild our shattered dreams, pave the way to a better future, and reunite with our family. Your support is not just a lifeline; Rather, it is a beacon of hope in our darkest moments.

Here you will find our whole story
