So while I'm here, let me elaborate on something -
I got into Hidden Object Games many a years ago through the WildTangent Games application on my laptop. They had an online currency system where you either bought/subscribed to getting 'coins', which you would use to replay your games.
However. Your first play of any game was free, with *unlimited* playing time. So kid-me avoided paying for most of the games by installing a bunch of HOPAs and completing them in one sitting, so I would never have to replay them. WildTangent got rid of their 'unlimited time' since then, and I'll forever miss exploiting that.
This means I've played many Hidden Object games, but didn't give myself a lot of time to digest them back then, so I don't remember a lot about them. A goal of mine on this blog is to locate the games I've played before to revisit again. I sadly cannot name *every* game I've played, but I have many vague memories of them!

A post that isn’t Mystery Case Files related 😅
The characters are from a hidden object game called Dark Parables: The Red Riding Hood Sisters. The first drawing is Ruth and the second two drawings is Briar Rose.
I really like that almost all hidden picture video games these days are female empowerment fantasies for weird little girls
Well I didn't think I would fall in love with a character from a fucking hidden object game but here we are.
I would highly recommend Grim Legends: Song of the Dark Swan as a game but also-
