the 17th century was called ‘the golden age of piracy’ and now that i’m reading about it it’s really not surprising that piracy appealed to so many people

I’m just gonna let all my toxicity out so hopefully I can stop being such a big bitch about this,, ignore me lemme dispel all this horrid energy. Designs don’t matter and I don’t know why I’m so upset about it, let my mediocre words be fuel to make even crazier designs
Anyways with that fair warning, here I go
When people make the dragons so bird like, like. That’s not a dragon anymore that’s just a gryphon, I would kinda fuck with a gryphon au though but it makes me ANGRY. FOR NO REASON.
Also dragons with fur. It’s cool. But I despise seeing it. Seriously makes me frown it’s such a cope.
honestly I’m a book design purist, I don’t stray far at all from the cannon when drawing ocs or fanart, I just need to be less ‘purist’ and more ‘not trying to get everyone to draw the same way because of my own feelings’
I need to see people beat this down frfr 🤦♀️ I have GYATT to stop being an ass!!!!
Get it.
I’ll leave now.

What is so weird about his appearance /gen? He just looks like a Seawing to me

me 🤝snapping turtle (Understanding that we love ourselves just the way we are but how society sees us still gets to us sometimes)
Snapping turtle by all terms is a pretty average seawing but in his universe an "average" seawing is a longer n smoother snout, bright colorful scaled, but still a short n stocky dragon. He doesnt exactly fit that (as many other seawings dont) He grew up in and around the palace so nobles were the dragons he was around most. Once he got outside and met other seawings he began to notice the differences. Greetings we from disgusted looks to average stares.
What is most frustrating to snapping turtle is how dumb these beauty standards are but how he just cant shake the effect they have on him when hes around the seawing nobles.

any questions feel free to ask!! :)
Giving Queen Wasp the same venom faced ending that Scarlet got was lazy AF and boring. Have her publicly executed, make one of her generals betray her and kill her. Have Luna take control of the Othermind and make the Hivewings turn against her in an angry mob all of them ripping into her flesh until she's dead. Like could Tui really not think of anything else.
.
Ruby could have been leading a patrol as royals in wof do serve in the army often holding high positions and dragons in the army have been shown to scout and patrol. Even if she hated Scarlet she was loyal and capturing Hailstorm wasn't a stupid stunt for her to please her mother. It was what any loyal soldier coming across an enemy prince would have done as they also captured Gill. And as shown in the books Hailstorm was a valuable hostage that could be used against Blaze and the Icewings. Not to mention that they knew that Winter and Hailstorm were princes as they were capturing them.
And that's not even starting on the enchantment placed on her and her fear of her mother and Peril
When people say that it was out of character for Ruby to capture Hailstorm in the prologue I disagree. She was a loyal member of the Skywing army and an enemy prince flew over the border so she took him prisoner. What's wrong with that? Was she really supposed to be nice about it. Just because she is presented as a sympathetic character in most books doesn't mean she's going to be all nice to dragons of an enemy tribe during a war. She literally just did her job, Hailstorm was her enemy at the time
