A wonderful thing to hear. Jeremy always did look full of happiness. His smile was lovely and warm. Im glad he had a lot of fun on set. And its so lovely to see how close Edward Hardwicke and Jeremy were. You can see in the interviews with them that they were good friends.

Tribute from Edward Hardwicke after JB’s death. I cut this from a TV listings magazine at the time but I can’t recall which one.

Before the year ends just wanted to celebrate this little moment from Star Trek. Sorry McGivers but we don’t even have sleeper ships right now never mind the advancements in sublight propulsion technology we were supposed to make this year. We’ve failed guys lol.
So, Happy Space Seed year!
Lucky buggers i so wish i could’ve gone but i found out too late. Its so wonderful to see that David made a speech. And its wonderful to know that people were there and shared stories and memories of Jeremy. Im sure he wouldn’t loved it.

Final post from today’s events – I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever see/hear David Burke, much less at a tribute to the dear Jeremy Brett. A wonderful day all around and a testament to just how special the Granada series was and continues to be.
It seems like a lot of people managed to go! Must’ve been a lovely warm atmosphere. So jealous. <3 ^-^

Some pictures from the Jeremy Brett Celebration and dedication off his bench today at Clapham Common.
So nice to see David Burke. Second picture is with actress Rosalyn Landor, who was in the episode The Speckled Band.

I thought this was so sweet that they were there to pay their respects and share some memories with the fans.

At today’s bench dedication and celebration on the 20th anniversary of Jeremy Brett’s death.
David Burke (Watson) to Barbara Wilshere (Violet Smith): “Ah, the cyclist!”
Someone please collect my heart from Clapham Common…
