I Am Actually Seething With Anger Because I Just Wanna Enjoy This Book I Just Finished (If We Were Villians)

I am actually seething with anger because i just wanna enjoy this book I just finished (If We Were Villians) and it's a very popular book so it's easy to find content on but it's often with content about another popular book (The Secret History) and this is why I am angry. I hate The Secret History! I haven't ever read it, and I won't. It was my ex girlfriends favorite book and I loath her. I know I shouldn't let her ruin things like this for me, but so much anger builds up inside me and I just wanna scream! She also likes If We Were Villians but she doesn't talk about that one so whatever. I just wanna enjoy content about a book I adore without thinking about her or getting mad! Just ugghhh

something I was surprised about in deadpool 3 was the genuine respect and acknowledgement of 21st century fox’s x men legacy. obviously there’s the beginning scene w the bones (which I thought was funny & creative btw) but 1. the call back characters 2. the credit behind the scenes footage 3. the treatment of wolverine. especially the treatment of wolverine. because they really said ‘logan howlett is such a tremendously important character that when he dies, an entire timeline could die off with him’. paradox tells wade “you got the worst wolverine” and I was expecting him to have done something horrible and irredeemable but it came down to a group of hateful humans killing his entire family the one night logan wasn’t there. he comes home from the bar, everyone is dead, and his beserker rage took over. even at his worst, logan is incapable of being a truly bad person. he will always grumble and swear and smoke and drink and pretend to be a lone wolf (but he’s a pack animal). he will always protect his own and those who can’t protect themselves. hm

I finished my essay. It's the worst thing I've ever written. I wanted to be rewarded with fanfiction but ao3 is still down. Might cry. Might scream. I need my sad brothers and angsty relationships.

Need to write an essay. I was reading stangst instead. Now ao3 is down. I should be glad I can write my essay without temptation of distraction but I'm just sad. I don't have an excuse for procrastination anymore.

I need to start actually reading comics so here's me asking what to start with and recs! I would like to read DC, Superman, Batman, and Robin, Young Justice, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern! I know there is a lot out there so I need help sorting through it!

How many times do you think Merlin brought in breakfast for Arthur just to find an empty room and a cold bed? How many times did he stumble out of bed in the morning, going to the kitchens without a thought while the cook let him take food became she couldn't bare reminding him? How many times do you think Merlin went to go clean Arthur's room only to find it unchanged since he last entered? How many times do you think Gwen found him there after she switched rooms because she couldn't bare to be there, but when she passed by Merlin always was? How many times did Merlin light a fire or wait at the desk for Arthur, trying to forget that he wouldn't be in that room ever again?
