I’m gonna be controversial here and just say it, WHO CARES what Jared said in that vanity fair interview, yalls are treating him like he fucking murdered someone, like he’s an actor, he’s gonna have his own opinion, I love Jared as an actor and have since the Gilmore girls days. Yalls are so toxic and I don’t get how people complain about the cast and crew being toxic when you’re all just as toxic as them, if not worse, you didn’t need to go to that extreme and be sending this man death threats. All he meant by it was he liked that fact that Sam’s wife didn’t have a face so we could choose who we wanted it to be, so it wasn’t set in stone for different people, it doesn’t mean he hated Saileen, and so what if he did, he’s allowed to have his own opinion, he’s a fucking human being. People here are just toxic and I’m getting sick of it, hell, Jared is an amazing person and actor, so why does he deserve all the hate? What because of one thing he said? Get over yourselves and grow up, we’re meant to be a family in this fucking fandom but it doesn’t seem like it. Send me death threats and watch what happens you fucks, you’re all acting like a bunch of immature kids, who cares about an actors opinion, it’s their opinion or aren’t we allowed to have those in 2021, like seriously grow up assholes, for the ones who are being appreactive of him, thank you, for the little shits hating on him, go have your cry somewhere else and get over it. The fandom is simultaneously the best thing (the good works that have come from it) and the ABSOLUTE WORST THING (y’all need to take a step back and let it go) about the Supernatural fandom.

Hey, I get it. You had a ship. Guess what? Your ship is valid whether or not it was canon (it wasn’t, but if you want to believe it was, that’s on you and I honestly dngaf). And that’s fine. What’s not fine is attacking an actor who worked on a show for fifteen years because you disagree with their interpretation of the material. They are just as–if not more–entitled to their own opinions, and while you have the absolute right to complain about it on tumblr or wherever, you do not have the right to attack them over it on social media. Said actor is not engaging with you on this in a one-on-one; they answered questions for a published magazine article as a part of their job. Chill the fuck out, complain to people who agree with you on your blog, and act like civilized people for fuck’s sake.  

Straight up? These actors should not have to do SPN conventions ever again. The way the fandom reacted to the finale was entitled bullshit, and if I were them and could get away with it financially, I would never engage with the fandom ever again. JFC, y’all. Imagine pouring so much of yourself into a job for fifteen years and building a character and a community for over a decade only to be told you don’t know what you’re talking about, and that your interpretation of events/characters is fatally flawed by a bunch of people who are consuming your product. Bonkers. Please leave these actors alone. You do not know them.
