Look. It’s not that I mind all those characterizations of Draco as super cool and collected and suave and unflappable and always in control. I just kinda suspect that maybe Draco wrote them. Bc that’s how he wants to be seen, but in truth this is the person who got scratched by a hippogriff and started rolling around on the ground yelling “it’s killed me. look at me. i’m dying.” and who smashed a glass during a charms exam because his crush Harry walked into the room and he got distracted looking at him. 

Headcanon that this is Ginny and Luna at a friend's Halloween party. Things got a bit out of hand, but only in the best way

A Bouquet of Bones

“I think they’re dead.”

“You think? Potter, it’s a pile of bones, a veritable skeleton, and you only think they’re dead.” Draco scoffs, and runs his hands through his hair, tousling it exactly how Harry likes. “Thank goodness the ‘Chosen One’ is on the case. I, for one, feel much safer—”

Harry sighs, deciding how far to push his luck. “Well, first I need to confirm that they’re actually human bones.”

“Oh, I—“

Harry advances on Draco, a flush rising up his pale neck as he takes several steps back. “You see, the last four times you’ve called…they’ve actually been flowers transfigured to look like bones.”

“Th-the thing is—“ Draco stammers, back hitting the door.

Harry presses his body flush against Draco’s and brackets Draco trembling shoulders with his forearms. “The thing is you’re a shit flirt.”

“How dare—” Draco murmurs, “I’ve never…”

“I’ll pick you up at seven tomorrow,” Harry whispers against the shell of Draco’s ear, smiling when Draco gasps softly.

“That’s not…I mean to say—“

“See you tomorrow.” Harry presses a chaste kiss against Draco’s pink lips. “Bring real flowers this time.”
