「 confession 」

“i’m hungryyyy,” you whine, wrapping both of your hands around soobin’s arm and tugging gently to make him go faster. “let’s go!!”

“i’m going, i’m going,” soobin held back a laugh, stumbling as he tried to keep up with you.

as soon as you were through the door, you headed straight for the frozen aisle where they kept the fish ice cream you liked. soobin was a little more reasonable, grabbing ramen containers as you pulled him through the store.

“okay, let’s go home!!” you turned around as soon as you got what you wanted, expecting to bump into your friend, but he wasn’t behind you like you thought he was. you weren’t scared at first; the store wasn’t that big and you were sure that he was only a few steps behind you.

a prickle of fear trickled down your spine as you realized soobin wasn’t coming. you stepped out of the frozen aisle, ice cream in hand, and started looking around.

“soobin?” you called uncertainly. you didn’t know your way around seoul very well (and directions weren’t really your thing anyway), which meant you were effectively stranded unless you had soobin to show you the way home. “soobinnie, where are you?”

at this point panic was starting to set in and you could feel yourself starting to tear up, when you spotted soobin near the cash register. a wave of relief crashed through your body, your knees almost collapsing on you as you ran over and crushed the tall boy in a hug.

“there you are! did you find your ice cr—oof,” soobin grunted with the force of your hug. noticing your teary eyes, he pulled back a little bit to cup your face. “hey, what happened? why are you crying?”

“i thought i lost you for a second,” you admitted, biting your lip. you felt a little embarrassed for overreacting, but the city was so big it scared you sometimes.

“aw, you’re such a baby,” soobin teased you. “don’t be scared. i’m right here.”

“i know,” you smile, wiping your face with the back of your hand. “i’m sorry you’re always taking care of me.”

“i don’t mind,” soobin ruffled your hair. “i really like you, y/n. i like taking care of you.”

“soobin! you can’t just say things like that,” you complain, hiding your face in his shoulder. your cheeks felt a million degrees, but somehow you found the courage to look up at your favorite boy. “i like you, too.”

「 a breakfast date 」

the sun had only crept across half of your bedroom floor when the sound of your phone ringing jerked you awake.

tossing your arm over the side of your bed, your fingers fumbled through your jeans, tossed carelessly on the floor the night before, until you found your buzzing phone. you peeled your eyes open just a crack to read the caller id (“soobin💘”) before pressing “answer” and flopping onto your back and lifting your phone to your ear.

“morning sunshine! i’m coming over to take you to breakfast. be ready in twenty.”

knowing you would argue with him, he had already ended the call before you could manage to get a word in.

groaning, you pulled yourself up into a sitting position and stretched. twenty minutes would be a stretch, but you know soobin rarely expected you to adhere to his schedules.

to your credit, you managed to be almost ready by the time soobin arrived. hearing the doorbell, you shrugged on a sweater and shuffled across your apartment to answer the door.

“good morning, love,” soobin was all smiles, pressing kisses to your cheeks and stepping around you to greet your puppy, who was currently running in circles behind you. “and good morning, moo.”

moo was a rescue, covered in black and white splotches (like a cow). it had taken you less than a minute to fall in love with her.

soobin crouched of her, scratching behind her ears the way she liked, but he spoke to you. “you ready to go?”

“yep, just gotta brush my teeth,” you say over your shoulder, already on the way to your bathroom.

ten minutes later and you were finally out the door, moo at your side.

“where are we going?” you ask, reaching over for soobin’s hand.

“we’re getting waffles!” he smiled. “there’s a new place that opened up and it allows dogs.”

“that’s perfect for us, huh, moo?” you look down at moo, who is sniffing at a plant growing in a crack in the sidewalk. your puppy barks at the sound of her name, making soobin laugh.

the café is probably the cutest thing you’ve ever seen, with plants hanging from the ceiling and a mural on one wall of a whole litter of puppies rolling in the grass. you and soobin sit at a table outside, where moo gets to play with another small dog, a maltese, and a very gentle chocolate lab called anzu.

on top of that, the food is amazing. you get blueberry waffles and soobin lets you steal the raspberries out of his side of fruit.

“thank you for waking me up,” you say, kissing the corner of soobin’s lips. “this was worth it.”

「 skinship 」

it had been almost three weeks since the last time you say your boyfriend in person and you felt like you were going to die from missing him.

even moo could tell that something was off. she kept bringing you leaves or flowers that she found on the pavement outside as little gifts, and while those cheered you up for a little while, you wanted soobin.

finally, one afternoon you were laying on your sofa, giving moo belly rubs and watching family guy when your phone buzzed with a text message.

from soobin: hi baby are you busy right now? can i come over?

you let out a little squeak of happiness before tapping out your response.

to soobin: please come over! i miss you sm

in reality, it probably took him less than ten minutes to text you that he was here, but to you it felt like hours.

before he could even make it to the front door, you had already opened it and were running into his arms. it felt so good to touch him and to hear his voice, in person not through the phone.

“i missed you so much,” he confessed, squeezing you back just as hard. “let’s never be apart that long again.”

𝐄𝐍𝐇𝐀 𝐀𝐒.....little (physical) things they do to show that they love you !!! (〃＾▽＾〃)

heeseung! rubs your back when you cuddle

maybe its just me, but i see hee as someone who probably likes cuddling chest to chest (other than when he makes himself super duper tinie in your arms and wants to be the little spoon)

but laying in that position gives him perfect access to wrap an arm around you and absentmindedly rub circles over your back

probably lets his fingers linger at the back of your neck first gently playing with the hair at the nape

and then slowly runs the palm of his hand up and down the expanse of your back, occasionally rubbing his thumb a little deeper against any knots or tension he can feel

loves to do it for you when you’ve had a busy or stressful day and probably actively asks if you want back rubs

or just settles down and opens his arms for you, laughing as you sprint into his embrace and bury your face in his neck

if you’re comfortable with it, probably puts his hand up the back of your shirt and traces shapes on your skin until you relax, before just letting his fingers rest comfortably against you

if you whine at him to rub your back again, he’d probably secretly love it and would definitely tease you too

jay! does your skincare when you’re tired

okay please this is actually something my bestie’s boyfriend does for her so credits to them for being a cute couple? hehe

ANYWAYS listen i fully believe that jay would be the sweetest bf ever >:((

yes i will spread my soft for jay agenda everywhere, SUE ME

whenever he sees you falling asleep without having washed up he’s always completely torn because does he leave you to sleep and get some well needed shut eye??? or does he wake you up and make you do your skincare like he knows you’d want him to??? but you look so cute sleeping??? but—

he settles somewhere between both, which is kinda just awkwardly half picking you up, half dragging you to the bathroom so he can very haphazardly try to wash your face for you

(it takes him a while to perfect the technique)

he makes sure to be extra gentle and softly hushes you whenever you try to get up :(

presses little kisses to your eyelids and cheeks between each stage of your routine

before stealing one last kiss after he applies your lip balm which kinda goes against the whole point of putting it on but shh

jaeyun! kisses your cheek before you leave

as shy as jake might have led us to believe he is, i just KNOW this boy is a sucker for kisses

it probably becomes a little routine for you both in the end

like this boy won’t let you go until he’s given you a minimum of at least two kisses on each cheek

sometimes they’re scarce, barely even touching your skin, feather light and kind of tingly :(

other times they’re a bit firmer and leave little marks on your skin from his lip tint (because jake’s not the jealous type but he definitely likes to reinforce the fact that you’re taken lmao)

rubs his thumb over the spot fondly before ruffling your hair or pulling you into a proper kiss depending on his mood and sending you on your way

it might seem small and insignificant because yunie likes to kiss A LOT (</3) but he still manages to get all giddy ok the inside

JAKE CULTURE IS WHIPPED CULTURE

sunghoon! brushes your hair

although hoonie seems a little more on the shy side, i really think he’d love brushing your hair!

at first he’s a little hesitant to ask if he’s allowed to do it for you, and kinda just....awkwardly stares at you as you get ready

lowkey hints that he wants to touch your hair i—

“your hair looks really soft....”

“wow, what conditioner do you use?”

“hey babe, you have a ladybird in your hair!”

sunghoon lied to touch your hair

ANYWAYS when he finally gets the guts to ask, he becomes obsessed with brushing your hair

loves when you sit between his knees on the floor and lean your head back

is SO gentle with you, softly running his fingers through any tangles before brushing it to make sure that you don’t get hurt

hopes that maybe one day you can teach him how to do cute hairstyles on you as well (＠＾◡＾)

sunoo! puts hand cream on for you

sunoo strikes me as someone who loves playing with their s/o’s hands all the time, and in doing that he probably notices when your hands get a bit dry

doesn’t even say anything, just grabs some cream and he’s good to go :D

is really soft!! makes sure not to press down hard when he spreads the cream over your skin because he’d never want to hurt his baby (⊃｡•́‿•̀｡)⊃

(if you have sensitive skin he’s always sure to carry around creams that will prevent rashes and irritation)

presses lil kisses to each of your fingers afterwards and never EVER lets go of your hands

once he’s got a hold of you, that’s it, your fingers are practically fused together now, no backing out

looks at you like a kicked puppy if you even dare try to untangle your hands :(

jungwon! puts your jewelry on for you

whether it’s rings, bracelets, earrings or necklaces, wonie will want to help you!!

it probably starts as something small, like you can’t quite reach to put your necklace on so he offers to do it, and in doing so he discovers he’s......a little bit whipped for you?

he’s just clasping the necklace and then he catches sight of you out of the corner of his eye and he sees your pretty smile and the way your eyes sparkle and how your nose scrunches up and he just kinda realises

ANYWAYS listen, after that jungwon practically grapples your jewelry out of your hand so he can put it on for you instead

plays with your fingers after putting your rings on :(( and kisses the back of your hand after putting your bracelets on :(( AND gives you cheek kisses after fixing your necklaces

basically he spoils you (´｡• ᵕ •｡`) ♡

riki! links pinkies with you wherever you go

riki’s a tinie lil babie and i think? at first he might be a lil shy with pda even though he’s super clingy from the looks of it lol

so instead of going to hold your hand he links your pinkies instead! (＾▽＾)

he thinks of it as giving you a continual pinky promise that you have his heart BUT he’d never admit that so don’t tell anyone

even when he gets more comfy with skinship he finds himself holding onto your pinky finger instead of properly holding your hand because of that very sentiment

maybe he doesn’t tell you at first though because he’s highkey shy and a lil embarrassed

but then you’re kinda a lil :(( because he always takes away his hand within like 0.2 seconds when you try to intertwine your fingers and you think you did something wrong :((

looking at you with a dazed lovestruck smile whenever you make his heart race. celebrating random anniversaries of your relationship. soft pecks on the shoulder. spoiling you and buying you whatever you want, but having to beg information from your friends to know what you want. hyping each other up. giving each other funny faces to make each other laugh. playing with your hair, sometimes ruffling it up just to annoy you. swatting his arm playfully. him making un of your laugh. taking embarrassing and funny photos of each other for blackmail use and competition purposes with who got a better picture later on.

staying up late in the morning being barely able to think: just laughing, murmuring, pecking, spooning, and rolling around the bed — telling it’s other to sleep but the both of you are too happy to do so. him telling you the future he’s imagined with you. a lot of pinky promises. the both of you wanting to be around each other so much that you make up excuses to spend more time together. designating a special day where the both of you would take couple pictures around the city. him instinctively biting his lip and glancing at you when someone tries to flirt with you. long surprise-back hugs. bantering and teasing that ends to tickle fights and squeals.

having a whole rack of his clothes on your closet. him often grabbing your waist for you to sit on his lap and hug you close. lots and lots of hugs. laying in the couch in comfortable silence, enjoying each other’s company while you’re on your own phones while he’d still let you know that his attention is on you by drawing circles on your legs he shifted to his lap. sending funny videos and pictures to make each other’s day better. a lot of “i saw this and it reminded me of you so i got it for you”. does simple gentleman-like gestures: opening doors for you, ‘ladies first’, accompanying you wherever you go, insisting to carry the shopping bags without complaining. face-time calls that eventually last for hours.

already acting like a married couple. “i love you”s before leaving. giving you different kinds of flowers almost every day. convincing him to get to do skin care with you. watching and binging Netflix series together, swearing that the other won’t watch ahead when one is busy doing something else. going grocery shopping together, probably breaking down a stand. watching the stars, pointing to one and claiming it the both of yours. him being extremely supportive and protective, watching over you. ordering a lot of takeout food. him waking up early to cook you breakfast while you sit on the counter admiring him, he teases you as he jokingly points the knife at you and swashes it around. wearing promise rings. him buying you a cute stuffed toy and naming it your ship name.

"are you flustered baby?" he asks when you turn away in an avoiding manner, giggling and laughing at you shying away. when it's his turn, he chooses a similar song and sings it while looking at you.

jay is busy, playing on his nintendo switch with all his attention invested in there. you on the other hand are trying to find your phone which niki stole minutes ago, moving around the dorm looking for a peek of it from somewhere he could have stuffed it in. just as jay is done with a level, passing it with satisfiable scores, you spot your phone right next to him on the couch deliberately close to him so you won't be able to see it. without realizing it slips from your mouth and jay is left stunned not being able to process your words,"baby can you please pass me my phone?" he silently gives you your phone while his mind keeps replaying your voice calling him baby and smiling and getting happy internally. remembers to you call you baby from next time.

you, him and jay are out spending your free time on the streets of hongdae, window shopping and shopping. at one point jay goes his own way, leaving you and sunghoon in another shop trying on a number of hats to find one which satisfies sunghoon enough to buy it. unfortunately it that shop you're unable to decide on one and end up leaving walking ahead looking through the shops to see if any other has good ones. it is then when you spot a black one which exactly like the imaginary one sunghoon had described, in excitement you beam,"look baby!" dragging him in and putting it on,"this one's perfect!" you don't realize it but he does, mumbling under his breath,"baby..- baby?" grinning and thinking about it for the rest of his life day.
