random acts of expressing love. affectionately calling you insults. laughing at each other’s mistakes. him stealing tender glances at you when you’re not looking. randomly clinging to you for attention/affection. a lot of inside sarcastic jokes only the both of you understand. him always checking his phone to see if you’ve contacted him. playfully flips you off when you don’t call him by his endearing nickname. making you promise you’d always hold his hand wherever you go. matching jewelry. playing childish games, with him boasting he’ll win for sure. him unconsciously whipped and smitten — dumbly smiling whenever someone mentions your name.

having a whole rack of his clothes on your closet. him often grabbing your waist for you to sit on his lap and hug you close. lots and lots of hugs. laying in the couch in comfortable silence, enjoying each other’s company while you’re on your own phones while he’d still let you know that his attention is on you by drawing circles on your legs he shifted to his lap. sending funny videos and pictures to make each other’s day better. a lot of “i saw this and it reminded me of you so i got it for you”. does simple gentleman-like gestures: opening doors for you, ‘ladies first’, accompanying you wherever you go, insisting to carry the shopping bags without complaining. face-time calls that eventually last for hours.

already acting like a married couple. “i love you”s before leaving. giving you different kinds of flowers almost every day. convincing him to get to do skin care with you. watching and binging Netflix series together, swearing that the other won’t watch ahead when one is busy doing something else. going grocery shopping together, probably breaking down a stand. watching the stars, pointing to one and claiming it the both of yours. him being extremely supportive and protective, watching over you. ordering a lot of takeout food. him waking up early to cook you breakfast while you sit on the counter admiring him, he teases you as he jokingly points the knife at you and swashes it around. wearing promise rings. him buying you a cute stuffed toy and naming it your ship name.

「 headcanons 」

okay i know that these boyfriend posts have literally never been consistent (like ever) and i’ve decided i’m just going to go with the flow and write what i want because they’re my posts and i just want to vent about how cute beomgyu is so that’s what i’m doing.

we have to talk about playing with his hair. like it’s a must. he’s definitely the guy who, whenever he comes over, he just flops onto your bed like he belongs there and then he tugs you on top of him for cuddles. bonus points if you reach up and run your hands through his hair until he falls asleep.

beomgyu also really likes holding hands with you. he holds your hands the most when you’re upset or anxious, and he does that thing with his thumbs where he moves them back and forth over the back of your hand to comfort you.

i feel like beomgyu is definitely the type of boyfriend to make fun of you all the time, but it never comes from a malicious place. he just really adores you and think you have the most adorable face when you’re angry or embarrassed. he’s always squishing your cheeks!

he definitely takes you to get boba all the time. he knows your order by heart.

you’re not super close with the boys, but they definitely hear about you all the time. beomgyu is always gushing about you, no matter how often the other members make fun of him (lovingly of course) for it.

「 favorite date 」

some people might think it’s boring, but one of your and beomgyu’s favorite things is staying in and having movie nights. they’re the perfect remedy for a stressful day, with lots of soft blankets and throw pillows arranged in a pile in your living room. you light your favorite scented candles (vanilla and coffee) while beomgyu brings the snacks (usually fresh strawberries and soft pretzels). regardless of how either of you are feeling, you always end up so much more relaxed by the end of the movie.

sometimes you have dinner together like that (usually take out, but sometimes you cook together) or you put on face masks and beomgyu braids your hair for you. he’s gotten pretty good at it since you taught him how. one of gyu’s favorite things is when you fall asleep on his shoulder. he loves everything about your movie nights, but his favorite part is carrying you to bed to cuddle after the movie ends.
