Its Amazing That "communists" Can Be Pro-porn And Sex Work Considering The Literal Communist Manifesto

its amazing that "communists" can be pro-porn and sex work considering the literal communist manifesto identifies these as the commodification of women's bodies for bourgeois exploitation. like how are y'all losing to two men from the 1800s in the feminism game. embarassing.

I genuinely think there's some level of projection here, on the part of these "seperatists".

like "wooo I'm a lesbian I could never be abused by my girlfriend. I'm better than these fucking straighties. I KNOW THE SECRET"

I'm so tired of these fucking high school antics where they have to pretend lesbians are some kind of mythical, magical, Noble Savages who are so much more "enlightened" than the straighties, in order to justify their choice to anyone who asks "why are you gay?"

Then this just attracts more trendy political-lesbians, then the definition of "lesbian" gets watered down to cute asexual definitions of affection because some of these polilez's don't actually feel gay desires, then lesbians complain about feeling "othered" and outnumbered in lez spaces. Vicious cycle... The polilezs start accusing the lesbians of "carrying the male gaze" and "ruining feminist solidarity" by being physically attracted to other women. I've heard this before.

Polilez may just open the door to homophobia in a new cloak.

So I think it's better to share information for how to avoid and get out of abusive situations, rather than attempting to pressure het women to "give up men". Some het women will make that choice on their own, if they feel like that's the best choice. You don't need to bully people into it.

The shame associated with heterosexuality in insular "queer" groups also produced the heterosexual ftm "gay trans-men" trenders. We don't need to create new variations of escape and denial. lol. This phenomenon was not entirely motivated by predatory heterosexuality. It's also a lot of young preteens seeing heterosexuality be trash-talked constantly in their online friend groups. It's also the constant fearmongering idea that an individual woman could 'never' be on equal footing with an individual man - that all heterosexual relations are defined by exploitation, inherently. This was something that other TIFs would groan about with me - they're scared of being taken advantage of as women, so they want to be like men. Unfortunately, some people end up putting themselves in worse positions than they were before transition: relationships with creepy chasers, people who seek out vulnerable and mentally-ill women to manipulate, 4x incidence of hate-crime compared to non-transitioning cis women- :( - trouble seeking help if it goes to shit, dealing with bigots. Not to mention that some of these girls were encouraging eachother to take T despite lacking any kind of dysphoria - to be 'anti-HBS' or 'anti-truscum'. Some of them ended up inducing physical sex dysphoria in themselves by taking cross-sex hormones willy-nilly. Which is a literal inescapable hell to deal with all its own. It's one thing to have sex dysphoria induced by patriarchal conditioning... It's another to have your brain revolting against your physical body.

A bit off-topic, I disgress...

Some people say that criticism of heterosexuality should 'have no effect' on such a privileged group... but is a teenage girl afraid for her safety so really privileged in this regard? I would not suggest that lesbians would be 'privileged' in comparison to straight girls. I don't think there's a need for such a dichotomy in this topic. I think it's healthy to recognise how straight and gay women can be oppressed in different and similar ways, for being women.

I'm fucking tired of the porn-addicts who probably haven't even spoken with a woman in months, who feel qualified to say they feel like women inside because the funny porn makes their tingly pingly, because "feelgoodimagine sexy lady instead of dopey man in mirror???"

Right on cue, they will deny it. Of course, what hunted animal would not try to hide itself?

Would you stand straight to defend an ugly truth about your private life, or would you deny it, reverse the accusation, and hope everyone forgets about it?

Layers built upon layers of isolation, loneliness, maladaptive coping mechanisms... meet reality.

This Is A 19th C. Lesbian And Female Writer Who Published Her Novels Under A Male Pen Name Yet The Article

this is a 19th c. lesbian and female writer who published her novels under a male pen name yet the article exclusively refers to her with he/him and even refers to her birth name as her 'deadname'. trans activism will be the death of history as a social science and i can't understand for the life of me why it's acceptable to use 21st century identity labels for long dead historical figures or to project our modern understanding of gender onto the past. and why stop there? should we use he/him for george eliot too? for george sand? can't they even start to understand why on god's green earth a 19th c. lesbian or a 19th c. female writer would ever use a male name? is it too hard to grasp? maybe the 1820s woman in a lesbian relationship wasn't Secretly a Man All Along, maybe she had to present as male if she didn't want to face harassment, lose her home and her income. maybe the 1820s female writer didn't have a ~magic secret hidden~ trans identity, maybe she had to use a male name if she ever hoped for her writing to be published and considered seriously. god these people are naive as fuck. what happened to critical thinking?
