Hey, C’mere, let me tell you something…

It is okay if your drawing doesn’t turn out %100 percent. It is okay if you draw four finger instead of five. It is okay if they are disproportionate. It is okay if you don’t get that one little detail or thing. It is okay if they don’t look %100 realistic. It is okay for your art to not look perfect, because it’s supposed to look like YOU and YOUR ART STYLE.

“But my art style is terrible—“ there is no such thing as a terrible art style! You only have different ones, and some people don’t like theirs so they change it.

“But it looks weird!” So what? I’m weird, I look weird, I sound weird, I stay weird stuff and I’m okay with it!

“But I hate my art! I wish I could draw like ___!” Yeah, and don’t you think they used to say the same thing about someone else?! They probably still say it towards another artist! I know I have plenty of people I say that too!! Besides, for all you know they could like your art too!

Remember, it’s okay to ask for art advice and criticism, but your art style is you, and you shouldn’t be afraid to show it to others, weather you think it’s good or not!

And just don’t worry about it. I promise there’s not going to be a dinosaur that jumps through the window and attacks you at your slightest mistake. If we were perfect, then we couldn’t want to “change” our art styles.
