Hitting the pen & yapping it up moment-

Has anyone had the difficulty of moving past self doubt and facing crippling perfectionism to really try to push yourself to do what you want to do?

I'm in the real serious "I need to chase my dreams" moment of my career right now where, after a childhood and teen years were so bleak and depressing, I didn't expect anything at all, always, ever, ANYTHING GOOD AT ALL, and I'm coming to terms that that's not helpful at ALL. as Patti Smith taught me, I need not care , but to put in HARD WORK. WORKING FOR WHAT I WANT.

It's absolutely been difficult, has anyone else dealt with this?
