there are a couple things i need to get off of my chest.

first, a massive apology to my girlfriend. y/n is the love of my life and will be my wife sooner or later and i hate that as a 26-year-old grown man i haven't had the backbone to stand up to ferrari when it comes to her. she's incredibly strong and i hate that she's had to go through this without my public support. i can't take it back now, but if i could i never would've let them take my phone and take control of my social media. they have now been dealt with and no one will stop me declaring my love and support for her.

second, if i hadn't already ran out of patience before, the legal trouble that family have put their own blood through threw me over the edge. they will never, ever deserve that girl and if i have anything to do with it they will never talk to her ever again. i may have been silent online but money talks and we will have vindication soon.

third, a big thank you to max, oscar and ollie for their continued support of y/n. it means so much that the public still saw how loved she is when i couldn't.

four, i am awake and i am angry, these people will learn who they are fucking with. see you soon lecfosi, it'll all be worth it in the end.

a/n: i'm back! i've healed enough hopefully to come back to writing <3

You don't mean to do this to him.

You know he deserves better and that no amount of empty promises from you would truly appease him. You told him you weren't ready and that you just needed a warm body to sleep next to at night. Not your words, exactly, but he understood.

It never got easier, the guilt impossibly heavier every time you tell him you need him. But he's there and he's smiling, telling you it's okay and that he's happy to be whatever you need him to be.

Pepe tucks some of your hair behind your ear, laying a tender hand against your cheek.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Pepe asks, running his thumb gently across the skin of your face, just below your eye. You're not crying, at least not yet, but Pepe had been there for nearly all your sobbing fits that it's just instinct for him at this point. To wipe away your tears, to make sure you're okay.

You shrug. "There's nothing to talk about. Just had a bad day."

Pepe nods, silently pulling you into a hug. You inhale his scent, boyish and mixed with the laundry detergent he and his roommate share on laundry days. His sheets smell like it, too. You know the smell well enough, having burrowed under Pepe's blanket nearly every night since you and your ex broke up.

"Did you see him today?" Pepe asks, pulling you further into the room, stopping only to maneuver you down onto his bed.

"Of course, I did. We have the same major and all the same classes," you say rather despondently.

You peer up at Pepe who's still standing, towering over you now that you're seated on his plush mattress. He smiles again, apologetic. Maybe he's sorry for you. Maybe he's sorry for himself.

"Do you wanna have dinner?" You ask, threading your fingers between Pepe's. You see his face light up and it almost hurts you, the way he doesn't know.

He doesn't know that you're only asking because you overheard Ollie tell Kimi that he'll be at that diner just outside campus with a couple of other friends. He doesn't know that the reason why you're so upset is because Ollie had his arm around another one of your classmates, a pretty blonde who you knew had a thing for your now ex-boyfriend ever since orientation days.

The words spring out of you before you can stop them.

"I was thinking we could get milkshakes at that diner just outside of campus," you suggest, pulling Pepe down to sit beside you.

He, of course, obliges. He always does. Pepe somehow doesn't know how or when to say no to you.

"Sure," Pepe easily agrees. He leans in and plants a soft kiss on your lips. You let out a sigh, a half giggle, mouth spreading into a grin when you feel him gently nudge you up the bed.

You let yourself get lost in his touch for a while, arms limp as he tugs your shirt off, your own fingers tracing the outlines of his bare chest after he tosses his sweater to the other side of the room. He's kissing down your neck now, and it feels good, feels right.

Your eyes close and suddenly, it's not Pepe who you're seeing. His tan skin is replaced with something fairer, lighter freckles smattered against his nose, almost red. His hair is curly and his accent is tinged with the barest of Italian inflection.

Ollie.

Your eyes fly open and you feel your body still, heart hammering against your chest. Pepe must feel the rigid reluctance from you as he stops, hand halfway behind your back, reaching for the clasp of your bra.

"You still with me?" Pepe asks, voice quiet. He pulls back to study your face, big brown eyes almost pleading as he looks at you.

Your heart rate evens out and you take a few seconds to look back at the face staring down at you.

Pepe.

Pepe is with you at this moment. His skin pressed against yours. His biceps shifting beneath your hands. It's Pepe that holds you now. Even if it's just for the rest of the night. Until you've decided you've had enough and you'd rather go back to stalking your ex's socials.

"Yeah," you whisper, cradling one side of Pepe's face. He leans against your palm, eyes fluttering shut as he revels in your touch.

"Good," Pepe mumbles back.

oscar’s hotel room 3:17am

Picking herself up off the floor, yn glanced at her reflection in the dimly lit mirror. She wiped away the tears that had been streaming down her cheeks, wincing slightly at the redness that had set in. She took a deep breath, trying to compose herself, and attempted to make her face look presentable. With a final sigh, she opened the bathroom door and stepped into the dark bedroom. Her eyes softened as she took in the sight of Oscar, lying peacefully in bed, his face serene and calm.

Despite the turmoil inside her, she couldn't help but smile at how adorable he looked, lost in his dreams. Pushing her guilt and insecurities aside, she made her way over to his side of the bed. Gently, she reached out and tapped his shoulder. "Osc."

Oscar stirred slightly, his eyes remaining closed. "Yeah?" he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep. "You okay?"

Yn hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to begin. "I..." she faltered, then continued, "No, not really." Oscar opened his eyes just a fraction, enough for her to see the concern etched in his sleepy gaze. "I saw what people were saying about me online, and—"

Before she could finish, Oscar reached out and pulled her into the bed beside him. She sat at the edge, struggling to hold back more tears as he gently took her hand, rubbing his thumb over her knuckles. He let out a soft, disappointed sigh. "I'm so sorry you had to see that."

"It's not your fault," she replied, shaking her head.

"And it's yours?" he countered gently. The way he said it made her realise how misplaced her thoughts had been. "Come here." He pulled her into his arms, and she nestled against him, feeling the warmth and safety of his embrace. Oscar held her tightly, as if trying to shield her from the cruel world outside.

"They were really mean," she whispered, her voice cracking.

"I know," Oscar murmured, his breath warm against her bare shoulder. "Unfortunately, it's something we drivers get used to, but it's always rough for someone new to the world of F1."

She let out a small, breathy laugh. "Talk about being new to the world, quite literally." A faint smile tugged at her lips. "Lando said he’d talk to his team tomorrow."

"We'll talk to the team tomorrow," Oscar corrected softly. He pulled back slightly, just enough to look into her eyes. "Hey, how about you tell me about your new project? You haven't mentioned it yet." His tone was gentle, encouraging, as if trying to distract her from her worries.

Yn looked at him, her heart swelling with love. The tears that had threatened to spill moments ago were now replaced by a shy, bashful smile. "Have I ever told you I love you?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Oscar's eyes sparkled with affection. "Once or twice, I'm sure, but definitely not enough."

A warm, contented feeling settled over her. "I love you, Osc."

He smiled, leaning in to kiss her forehead tenderly. "I love you too, more than anything." He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and added, "No matter what anyone says, you are amazing, and I'm so proud of you."

this past weekend was tough on both mclaren drivers, decisons were made and oscar and lando are both excellent and talented drivers. lando is my brother and oscar is my boyfriend and best friend, there will never be a day where i chose between the two of them when they’re on a podium. i love them both so deeply and i will never pick a favourite.

The golden bell on your bakery’s door chimed late in the afternoon as you swept, getting ready for closing.

Your back was facing the entrance as you spoke up, “Perfect timing. I was just about to lock the door. What can I get for ya?”

“A strawberry shortcake.”

You spun around, recognizing the man’s voice instantly.

It was Oscar.

You hadn’t seen him in about a decade, but you still occasionally took time to follow his racing. You were hoping that one day he’d find his way back to you.

“Hi,” you greeted him with a warm smile.

“Hi.”

“It’s been a while.”

“It has,” he responded, shoving his hands in his pockets.

You reached down to grab the small cake from the cold display case, “You know, your mum reached out to me.”

“She did? What’d she say?”

“Just how she wants us to reconnect and all. She visits me pretty often.”

Oscar hummed, as you set the cake on the counter.

“…To-go?” you asked.

He shook his head no, “Would you like to sit down with me?”

You nodded, plating the treat and walking out from behind the check out. You locked the door and he grabbed two small pink forks, handing one to you as you took a seat across from him.

“My mum, she would uhm…” he stabbed the utensil into the cake. “At every race she got to see in person she’d bring me a pastry from here. She’d make sure to tell me it was made by you and how your business was doing and all. I always performed better when she brought me them, too. It was always nice to know a piece of you was with me everywhere I went.“

You practically melted at the confession.

“That’s really sweet,” you dragged the tongs of your fork through some of the icing.

“I see that you’ve made a name for yourself in the Formula 1 baking community.” you both laughed.

“I had a great teacher.”

The two of you stared at each other for a moment, both taking bites from the cake.

“I’m sorry i didn’t visit sooner,” Oscar apologized.

“I’m just glad you’re here now.”

-Australian Grand Prix-

At your bakery Oscar insisted that you attend this year’s Australian Grand Prix. You finally got the privilege of meeting so many amazing people such as Leo the famous paddock puppy and none other than Oscar’s best friend, Logan.

You stood in the Mclaren garage with Oscar’s parents as the team prepped for the race. You brought some cookies for Lando to which he complained that he wouldn’t be able to eat them until after the podium ceremony.

The two made their way back to you a few hours later, Lando in p3 and Oscar in p4. Lando snatched the tin of cookies from your hands.

“You know you’re supposed to share that?” you said as he took a seat, devouring the treats, but he just waved you off.

You gave Oscar a hug and he pulled you off to the side.

“So I was thinking… maybe I could take you on a proper date tomorrow?

You smiled, “That sounds great.”

y/n.pastries I am very pleased to announce three new limited additions to the bakery’s menu! Carlos Sainz’ pancakes, Yuki Tsunoda’s Fruit Sando, and the LEC Vanillove ice cream sandwich.

The fans have been dying to try my boyfriend Oscar’s (basic) vanilla buttercream cupcakes, so I’ll be keeping them as a year round pastry.
