Don’t be afraid to write that fanfic . Regardless of the film, celebrity, book, show, character, sexuality, genre, or whether you think it's good or not write it! There isn't nearly enough fan fiction for us to appreciate or relate to as it is. We’re just as important as any other reader and if the fandom claims that the character would never be interested in a black person, and?! How the hell they know? There's a reason it’s called fan fiction... Don't be ashamed to write it because you fear nobody will read it, they will. It's important, in my opinion, that black readers be able to visualize themselves in the book. So write the story! 🫶🏾

the funniest thing is him trying to understand slang that you use by incorporating it into his sentences as if he even knows what’s he’s saying him damn self. one time, he was scrolling through your instagram with you (he will be on your phone with you because he sees it as bonding) and when you both noticed a pretty girl:

“oh, she pretty!”

“yeah.”

a few moments of silence went by.

“is her body tea?”

“….what?”

it took everything in you not to laugh because you knew he was asking you that so geniunely.

and her fans are quick to say “BUT SHE ENCOURAGED US TO VOTE” okay? ppl been doing that 🤨.

i can handle taylor swift being one of the best modern example of white mediocrity in both music and feminism to date as well as her being a terrorist to the environment but when i see her fans doing all these grand things for her (like mass reporting anyone who criticizes) i really wish that she would use that influence to speak out about the current genocides instead

standing besides people in need should be natural reaction, i’ve never been in a situation as hellish as the current war but as poc i know how it feels when people in power turn their back to you, so i will always keep the people of palestine in my heart. i’m sorry about everything, you and your family deserve so much better and i hope you get that fast!
