He was supposed to be your best friend , but he found himself falling for you. The line between platonic and romantic has long been blurry for him — he didn't want to be just your best friend anymore , he wanted to be more than that. He couldn't stop his eyes from glancing down at your lips as you spoke , wondering if the lip balm you wore was flavored. Maybe strawberry? Maybe cherry? Maybe even vanilla? His eyes then glanced back up to your face , a small smile on his face as he took note of how your eyes were glancing around instead of looking at him — you've never been able to hold eye contact with him. "Look at me while you talk to me , will you?", Jaehyun mused as he boldly yet gentle cupped your cheek to make you look at him — a soft chuckle coming from him as your eyes kept wandering around.

His mind once again wandered as he glanced back down to your lips , they looked so kissable and were just screaming for him to kiss them. He continued to nod as he listened to you speaking , slowly scooting closer to you. "Ah yeah...? Is that so? How interesting..", He mumbled with a small grin on his face as his face was right in front of you by now, a comforting yet tension filled surrounding the two of you. He could practically feel the heat radiating from your body. He didn't know what suddenly pushed him to do this — maybe the thoughts about what flavor your lip balm had or his hidden (badly hidden) feelings for you , but he couldn't stop himself from leaning in. It felt like a spark of electricity hitting his lips as they touched yours for a split second — pulling away a little to read your expression , if you were uncomfortable or not.

Your eyes looked at him in surprise before they went back to their normal gaze , the tip of your nose brushing against his as you tilted your head a little to the side , wanting him to kiss you again. His thumb gently rubbed into your cheek as a loving grin grew on his face , slowly leaning in to kiss you properly this time. His hand cupped your cheek more firmly , pulling you closer to him while his lips slowly moved against yours. His lips were soft against yours, moving so gently and kissing you so softly. Cherry , that was what he could taste — your lip balm was cherry flavored.
