what if, during one of their many misadventures, wednesday and enid land themselves in a dire situation

like, wednesday and enid are hanging off a cliff just by a gnarled root desperately clutched in the Addams' hand

wednesday is trying with all her might to pull a severely injured enid and herself up, but her battle-worn body is too exhausted to do anything other than strain painfully. enid can sense her waning strength and says—

"let me go,"

"what?" the tired girl questioned with furrowed brows, unbelieving of the asinine request she just heard.

"wednesday, let me go." enid repeated firmly

shaking her head as much as she could, wednesday glared at the cliff's edge, so close but taunting in its distance. "cease your foolish requests, sinclair. I will not be entertaining them. Thing will be arriving shortly and—"

"it's okay," the wolf interrupted, loosening her grip.

immediately feeling the slackening hold, wednesday's eyes widened in panic as she attempted to grip the girl's hand tighter. "what are you doing?"

"you can't hold the both of us up much longer," enid reasoned with a sad smile, her palm sliding further out of wednesday's hand. "and someone needs to go stop them."

"no," wednesday denied vehemently, eyes burning. "don't do this. the others will be—"

"there's no time." barely holding on from the hook of wednesday's fingers, enid gave the goth girl one final wobbly smile. "it's going to be okay," she promised one final time.

using what little strength she had in her, enid kicked off the face of the cliff and out of the heiress' desperate grasp.

only briefly did wednesday watch her descent, unable to watch the woman she loved fall with a smile etched on her face.

turning back towards the cliff's face, wednesday closed her eyes as her ears picked up the faint sound of a thud. "damn you," she whispered angrily, stubborn tears slipping beneath her eyes. "damn you!" she repeated brokenly.

Enid: Wait, oranges and tangerines are not the same thing?

Wednesday: [starts kissing Enid's arm from knuckle to shoulder] Enid, you're such a woefully idiot.

"Stealing from me again, Sinclair?" wednesday questioned, a spark of warmth contradicting her stern expression "Do you know no bounds? First my heart, now my clothing? What's next?"

Bundled in an oversized black hoodie, the wolf stretched out languidly on the goth's bed

"Your last name," was the sleepy reply, a gentle confidence resonating in her promise

wrenching her wrist out of the gorgon's hold, enid stared at ajax in irritated disbelief. "don't make me choose between you and her,"

"why?" he questioned angrily, snakes hissing in agitation. "because you'll choose her?"

pressing her lips into a thin line, she stared at her boyfriend undaunted. "...yeah," nodding once as if to show her resolve, she continued with a step back. "i'll choose her."

roughly swallowing, ajax did nothing as he watched the werewolf dart off to find her roommate.

and in the quiet of the room, he mourned to himself, "i think our relationship just ended."

Xavier meets Wednesday and becomes obsessed. He chats her up at every turn, sketches her whenever she tolerates his presence, and joins her with her friends whenever possible. (Several dates have been ruined so far which is incredibly unfair because Wednesday puts so much work into their nights and making Enid feel special. They don't deserve to have it ruined because some tortured artist can't take a hint.)

He even went so far as to slip a cell phone into her bag as a present. (Enid finds it first and is excited until Wednesday expresses confusion over it. Then Enid is pissed as hell when she finds the GPS tracking app he installed on it.)

He is not deterred when she says already has a girlfriend- she and Enid are so opposite it's gotta be a phase, right? Just gals being pals, right? (Nevermind that he transferred to Nevermore a month ago and missed the months long dance of mutual pining from last year. Nevermind that they support and understand each other in an enviable way, or that they constantly engage in PDA that has their friend Yoko spritzing them with a spray bottle.)

He lies to his buddy Ajax and the girls about the situation, arranges a double date, then literally loses a finger when he puts his hand on Wednesday's thigh under the table. (This was supposed to be an apology dinner and he pulls that shit? He's lucky Enid didn't take his whole arm off.)
