Unexpected Bond

Unexpected Bond

Summary: Logan and Scott go from rivals to boyfriends after a mission forces them to confront their true feelings.

Unexpected Bond

The X-Jet flew silently through the night sky, the rhythmic hum of its engines a soothing backdrop to the fatigue that settled over Logan and Scott. They sat side by side in the back, their injuries treated but their minds still buzzing from the intensity of their latest mission. The familiar tension between them seemed to have dissolved, replaced by a newfound, tentative connection.

When the team disbanded, Scott lingered in the infirmary, his thoughts in turmoil. Logan, noticing Scott’s distant demeanor, approached him with an unusual tenderness.

“You alright, Summers?” Logan asked, his voice softer than usual.

Scott looked up, his eyes weary. “Just processing everything. Tonight was… a lot.”

Logan nodded, understanding. “Come on, let’s get some fresh air. It might help.”

They stepped outside into the garden, the cool night air a welcome contrast to the sterile environment of the infirmary. They walked in silence to a secluded bench and sat down, the serenity of the garden offering a momentary escape from the chaos of their lives.

Logan broke the silence with a thoughtful tone. “You know, I’ve come to respect you more than I ever thought I would. You handle these situations better than I gave you credit for.”

Scott, surprised by the compliment, met Logan’s gaze. “Thanks, Logan. That means a lot coming from you.”

Logan smirked, though his eyes were sincere. “Don’t get used to it.”

Scott chuckled, the sound lightening the mood. “You’re not so bad yourself. There’s more to you than just the rough exterior.”

Their eyes locked, and something shifted between them. The barriers they had meticulously built began to crumble, revealing a deeper, more vulnerable connection. Logan reached out, his hand gently covering Scott’s.

“Maybe we should stop pretending,” Logan suggested quietly, his gaze steady and earnest.

Scott’s heart raced, but he didn’t pull away. Instead, he leaned in, their faces just inches apart. “Maybe we should.”

Their lips met in a tentative kiss, soft and exploratory at first. As they allowed themselves to fully embrace the moment, the kiss deepened, becoming more passionate. When they finally pulled away, both were breathless, their eyes reflecting a new clarity.

“Guess this changes things,” Scott said, a small but genuine smile playing on his lips.

Logan’s smirk softened into a real, tender smile. “For the better, I’d say.”

They spent the remainder of the night talking quietly, their walls down and their hearts open. The conversation flowed easily, touching on their hopes, fears, and dreams. As dawn approached, they found themselves wrapped in each other’s arms, their bond solidified by the night’s revelations.

In the weeks that followed, Logan and Scott navigated their new relationship with a blend of excitement and calm. They found themselves falling into a new rhythm, their interactions filled with a sense of ease that had been missing before. The tension that once marked their exchanges had transformed into a deep, supportive connection.

Their teamwork improved significantly. In battle, their coordination was almost instinctive, their moves synchronized in a way they hadn’t achieved before. Outside of missions, they found comfort in the small, everyday moments—sharing meals, watching movies, and enjoying quiet evenings together.

One evening, after a particularly grueling training session, Scott and Logan retreated to their quarters. The room was dimly lit, casting soft shadows on the walls. Scott lay on the bed, looking over at Logan who was seated nearby, lost in thought.

“You know,” Scott said softly, breaking the silence, “this is different from what I imagined. But it feels right.”

Logan looked up from his thoughts, a tender smile crossing his face. “Yeah, it’s different. But it’s exactly what we needed. I’m really glad we found this.”

Scott shifted, sitting up and moving closer to Logan. “Me too. I never thought I’d find something like this, something so… meaningful.”

Logan reached out, his hand brushing against Scott’s cheek. “Neither did I. But now that we have it, I’m not letting it go.”

They continued to explore their relationship, finding joy in the ordinary and comfort in each other’s presence. They celebrated milestones, both big and small, and supported each other through challenges. Their bond became a source of strength not only for them but for the entire team. The acceptance they received from their colleagues reinforced the importance of their connection and made their journey together feel even more significant.

One particularly quiet evening, they sat together on the couch, a movie playing softly in the background. Logan glanced over at Scott, who was nestled against him, a contented smile on his face.

“This,” Scott said softly, “this is what I’ve always wanted. To be here with you, just… being.”

Logan pressed a gentle kiss to Scott’s forehead. “I feel the same way. We’ve come a long way, and I wouldn’t trade this for anything.”

As they lay together, wrapped in each other’s arms, they knew their journey was only beginning. Their relationship, forged through shared experiences and newfound understanding, was a testament to the unexpected and enduring nature of true connection. Facing the future together, they embraced the promise of their bond, ready to tackle whatever came their way with unwavering support and love.

The Quiet Shift

Summary:Riley becomes quiet after overhearing complaints. The X-Men apologize, and she gradually opens up again.

Riley’s laughter echoed through the X-Mansion as she animatedly recounted a humorous incident from her day. Her vibrant energy was a staple of daily life, filling the mansion with a sense of joy and camaraderie. She loved being the source of light-heartedness for her teammates.

That evening, as Riley prepared a late-night snack, she overheard a conversation from the next room. Curious, she edged closer and caught snippets of the discussion.

“I just feel like she never stops talking,” Logan’s voice was laced with irritation. “It can be a lot sometimes.”

Jean added, “It’s like she’s always on, and it’s hard to get any peace and quiet.”

Storm’s calm tone held a hint of exasperation. “Her cheerfulness is great, but it can be overwhelming.”

The words hit Riley hard. She hadn’t realized her constant talking might be a burden. Feeling a sharp pang of hurt, she retreated to her room, her mind racing with the sting of their comments.

Over the next few weeks, Riley’s vibrant personality began to dim. Her conversations grew quieter and more infrequent. Instead of her usual lively anecdotes, she offered brief, unenthusiastic responses. Her friends noticed the change but attributed it to temporary stress or personal issues.

Kitty and Rogue observed the shift and mentioned it in passing. “Ri’s been a bit off lately,” Kitty remarked. “Maybe she’s just going through something.”

Rogue agreed. “Yeah, she’s been quieter. Could be nothing.”

Jean and Logan, focused on their own concerns, didn’t pay it much mind. They assumed Riley would snap back to her old self eventually.

The gradual change continued. Riley’s silence became more pronounced. She attended meals and group activities but remained distant. Her lack of engagement was subtle but noticeable, and while the team saw it, they didn’t immediately connect it to anything deeper.

One evening, during a team discussion, Logan attempted to draw Riley out. “Hey, Ri, any new stories or jokes tonight?”

Riley offered a small, distant smile. “Not tonight, Logan. Maybe another time.”

Logan and the others exchanged glances, unsure of what to make of her response. The shift was palpable but didn’t immediately raise alarms. They assumed it was just a phase.

The situation came to a head during a particularly challenging mission. Riley’s performance was subdued, and her usual energy was missing. The team’s concern grew as they noticed her struggle, both in her contributions and her overall demeanor.

Kitty and Rogue decided it was time to address the issue directly. “Something’s definitely wrong,” Kitty said. “We need to talk to Ri and find out what’s going on.”

Rogue nodded. “Yeah, let’s see if we can get her to open up.”

Jean and Logan took their cue and approached Riley. “Ri, we’ve noticed you’ve been really quiet lately,” Logan said, his voice gentle but concerned. “Is everything okay?”

Riley looked up, her eyes betraying the hurt she had been trying to hide. “I overheard you talking about me. About how I talk too much and how it’s overwhelming.”

The X-Men were struck by the realization. They hadn’t intended to hurt her, but the impact of their words was clear. Jean reached out, her voice soft. “We didn’t mean to make you feel this way. We’re really sorry.”

Riley nodded, tears welling in her eyes. “I just needed some time to process it.”

The team, now understanding the root of Riley’s change, worked to support her and reconnect with her. Over time, Riley’s laughter and energy began to return, and the team’s efforts helped to bridge the gap that had formed.

In the Shadows of Care

Summary:

Logan is critically injured after a fight with Omega Red and his healing factor is severely impaired. His girlfriend, Star, cares for him through intense fever and seizures, providing comfort and support. As he recovers, Logan is deeply touched by her unwavering devotion.

The battle against Omega Red had been brutal. Logan fought with fierce determination, but Omega Red’s spray had devastated his healing factor, leaving him with severe wounds and a dangerously high fever.

Back at the X-Men mansion, Star’s worry deepened as Logan’s condition worsened. His fever spiked so high that he could barely move, and his strength ebbed away. Despite his protests, Star prepared an ice bath to try and bring his temperature down. She managed to get him into the cold water, but the shock triggered violent seizures. His body convulsed, eyes rolled back, and foam formed at his mouth. Star’s heart raced as she struggled to keep him safe, her voice breaking as she called for help. “Logan, stay with me!”

After the seizure subsided, Star pulled him from the ice bath, wrapped him in warm blankets, and held him close, her tears mixing with the droplets still on his skin. The X-Men quickly arrived and administered the antidote, but the damage was severe. Logan’s recovery would take time, and his body was left weak and unresponsive.

For the next few days, Logan’s fever continued to plague him. He was too weak to walk, and every movement was an exhausting effort. Star took on the role of his primary caregiver with unwavering devotion. She spoon-fed him, her hands steady and gentle as she offered him small bites of nourishing food. Logan’s usual resistance was replaced by overwhelming vulnerability. Each meal was a testament to her care and his gradual acceptance of it.

Star’s nurturing extended to every aspect of his care. She kept him hydrated with sips of water and his favorite tea, meticulously monitoring his temperature and ensuring he was as comfortable as possible. Each day, she provided soothing back rubs, her touch a balm for his aching muscles. She kept him warm, adjusting the blankets and making sure he was never alone.

The emotional toll on Logan was profound. As the days passed, he found himself overwhelmed by the depth of Star’s care and his own feelings of helplessness. One evening, as Star gently spoon-fed him a bowl of soup, the weight of his emotions became too much to bear. Tears streamed down his face, his usual tough exterior crumbling in the face of her relentless tenderness.

He looked at Star with a mixture of gratitude and anguish. “Thank you,” he said quietly, his voice choked with emotion.

Star’s own tears welled up as she saw the raw vulnerability in Logan’s eyes. She wiped his tears away with a gentle touch and held him close, her heart aching for him. “You don’t have to thank me,” she said softly. “I’m here for you, no matter what.”

Logan’s sobs subsided as he settled into her embrace, the comfort of her presence helping him find a fragile sense of peace. The emotional and physical toll of his ordeal had been immense, but Star’s unwavering support provided a beacon of hope and healing.

As Logan’s strength gradually returned, he began to regain his ability to move and care for himself. The ordeal had brought them even closer, and the bond they shared grew stronger through the trials they had faced together.

In the quiet moments of recovery, Logan looked at Star with deep appreciation. “I don’t know how to repay you,” he said quietly.

Star smiled, her eyes reflecting a deep affection. “You don’t have to,” she replied. “We’re in this together, and that’s all that matters.”

In the shadows of his pain, Logan found solace in the strength of their bond, understanding that the love and care they shared were worth more than anything he could ever repay.

I hoped you guys enjoyed it. Also feel free to request anything you’d like me to write.

Hi!!! Can you write something else for dad!Logan with Laura? Maybe something where they meet reader (maybe she works at the library, or she’s a school teacher, or even the waitress at a restaurant, or they run into her at the park) and Laura sees her dad with the woman and instantly KNOWS they click 💕

The Library Smile

Summary:Logan meets a kind librarian, and his daughter Laura quickly senses a connection, urging him to pursue it.

Logan and Laura step into the small, cozy library on a Sunday afternoon, the kind of place where time seems to slow down. Sunlight streams through the high windows, casting golden pools of light on the well-worn carpet. The air is thick with the comforting scent of old pages and coffee from a little café tucked in the back corner.

Logan rarely visits places like this—too quiet, too exposed, too many windows. But he promised Laura an afternoon of peace, and she had insisted on the library. He watches her dart toward the graphic novels, her eyes alight with excitement, and feels a twinge of pride. For someone so young, she’s seen too much, experienced too much—but here, in this sanctuary of stories, she can just be a kid.

As Logan trails after her, trying to stay out of people’s way, he catches sight of you. You’re standing on a small step stool, stretching up to reach a top shelf, a few books in your arms. Your face is bright with concentration, eyes narrowed slightly in focus, and there's a small, unguarded smile on your lips as if the world outside the library walls doesn’t exist.

He watches for a moment longer than he should, something inside him shifting. Your hair falls loose around your face, and when you finally manage to place the book in its rightful spot, you step back down, satisfied. You catch his gaze and offer a warm, friendly smile that makes Logan’s heart do something strange—a little flip he hasn’t felt in years. He nods back, caught off guard, and quickly looks away, but not before you see a hint of something softer in his eyes.

Laura, ever observant, sees it all. She’s young, but she knows her dad better than most. She’s seen his smiles before, but this one is different—it’s small, a little awkward, but real. She watches how he keeps glancing at you, like he’s curious, like he doesn’t quite know what to do with himself in this quiet place.

She tugs at Logan’s sleeve, pulling him out of his thoughts. “Dad,” she whispers, eyes gleaming with mischief, “why don’t you go talk to her?”

Logan frowns, a bit thrown by her directness. “What are you talkin’ about, kid?” he grumbles, though there’s no bite in his words.

“She’s nice,” Laura insists, shrugging as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world. “And you’re smiling. You don’t smile like that for just anyone.”

Logan looks back at you, a bit embarrassed, but there’s no denying the pull he feels. “Yeah, maybe,” he mutters, trying to play it cool, but Laura sees right through him.

“C’mon,” she urges, nudging him again. “Just ask her something. You always say to be brave, right?”

Logan chuckles softly, realizing he’s been cornered by his own advice. “Alright, kid, alright,” he concedes, ruffling her hair. “But if this goes south, it’s on you.”

Laura just grins, watching him take a deep breath like he’s about to face down a dozen Sentinels, not just talk to a woman in a library. He approaches you, clearing his throat, his hands shoved deep in his jacket pockets.

“Hey,” he says, and his voice comes out a bit rougher than he intended. “Uh, my kid and I… we’re lookin’ for some books. For her, mostly.” He stumbles over his words, not quite sure where to start. “Maybe you could help us find something… good?”

You look up from your stack of books, your smile brightening when you see him standing there, trying hard not to look as awkward as he feels. “Of course! I’d be happy to help,” you reply warmly. “What does she like to read?”

Logan hesitates, scratching the back of his neck, suddenly aware of how little he knows about the details of books. “Uh, she’s into graphic novels,” he says. “And, y’know… adventure stuff. Stuff with a lot of heart.”

You nod, your smile never wavering. “I think I have just the thing.” You lead him to a different section, glancing over your shoulder to see if he’s following. He is, eyes focused on you in a way that makes your cheeks warm.

Laura watches this from behind a nearby bookshelf, trying to look busy flipping through her comics but grinning ear to ear. She notices the way Logan’s stance softens, how his shoulders lose a bit of their usual tension, and how he’s leaning in just slightly, listening to every word you say.

As you hand Logan a book, your fingers brush for just a second. It’s nothing, a small accidental touch, but to him, it feels like a spark. He clears his throat again, this time softer, almost shy. “Thanks,” he says, holding the book, but his eyes are still on you.

“No problem,” you reply, noticing the way he looks at you, as if he’s trying to memorize your face. “It’s nice… seeing a dad and daughter spending time like this.”

Logan’s face softens even more, and there’s a look of vulnerability there, something rare, something you don’t often see in a man like him. “Yeah,” he murmurs, his voice lower, more sincere. “She means the world to me.”

You nod, touched by the honesty in his words. “I can see that,” you say gently. “You’re doing a great job.”

For a moment, there’s a comfortable silence, a quiet understanding that seems to settle between you. Logan feels like he could stay in this moment just a little longer, basking in the warmth of your smile, the softness of your voice.

Laura can’t help but feel a sense of triumph. She doesn’t know exactly what’s happening, but she knows it’s good—better than good. Her dad deserves this, deserves someone who can make him feel human, make him smile.

Logan finally steps back, holding the book you’ve given him like it’s something precious. “Thanks again,” he says, his voice softer, more genuine than before. “Maybe… maybe we’ll see you around?”

You smile, and there’s a hint of something hopeful in your eyes. “I’d like that,” you reply.

As Logan walks back to Laura, she beams up at him. “So?” she asks, trying to sound casual, but failing.

Logan shakes his head, a small smile still on his lips. “So… maybe you were right, kid,” he admits, ruffling her hair. “Maybe.”

Laura grins, feeling like she just won the lottery. “Told you,” she says, satisfied.

And as they leave the library, Logan glances back over his shoulder, one last time, catching your eye again. There’s a small wave, a shared smile, and something new blooming between you—something fragile, but undeniably real.

And for the first time in a long time, Logan feels like maybe, just maybe, there’s room for a little more light in his life.

Request are WIDE OPEN! Feel free to ask for Almost anything!

“Hearts Entwined and Torn”- Part 3

**Summary**

Amber, injured and feeling ignored by the X-Men during a mission, makes a drastic decision after confronting the team. They are left stunned by her choice.

The X-Men were deep in the heart of the city, battling the most dangerous mutant they had ever encountered. The chaos of the fight was overwhelming, and Amber’s desperate pleas for help were swallowed by the cacophony. “Help! I need backup!” she shouted, but her voice was lost in the fray.

“Hold on, Amber!” Cyclops’s voice crackled over the comms, but his words felt empty. Amber could see that the X-Men were too engrossed in the battle to come to her aid.

When the mutant was finally subdued, Amber limped back toward the team, pain evident in her strained movements. A deep gash on her side bled through her shirt, each step a sharp reminder of her injury. The X-Men, finally victorious, barely acknowledged her pain as they regrouped.

The ride back to the mansion was heavy with silence. Amber sat in the corner, her side throbbing and her emotions raw. Her silence was a painful counterpoint to the team’s casual conversation.

Upon arriving at the mansion, Amber moved directly to her room. She was barely noticed until the sound of her door slamming reverberated through the halls.

“Amber?” Jean’s voice cut through the uneasy quiet, her tone laced with concern. The team turned, realizing something was amiss.

Storm and Cyclops hurried to Amber’s room. They found her packing her belongings with harsh, jerky movements. The injury on her side was severe, and she flinched with every motion. “Amber, what’s going on?” Storm asked, her eyes wide with worry.

Amber zipped her bag, her face a storm of anguish and resolve. “I’ve had enough. Not only did you all ignore me, but you also made me feel like it was my fault that Jean got injured. And Logan…” Her voice broke as she turned to him. “You betrayed me in the worst way possible. I can’t stay here anymore.”

Cyclops stepped forward, his face twisted with regret. “Amber, we didn’t mean to ignore you. We were just… caught up in the mission.”

Amber’s eyes were fiery with hurt. “Caught up? That’s an excuse for leaving me to get hurt while you focused on something else? And you, Logan—how can you stand there after what you did? After everything?”

Logan’s face was etched with remorse and guilt. “Amber, I know I messed up. I should’ve been there for you. I’m sorry. I know that doesn’t fix anything, but please, don’t do this.”

Amber shook her head, tears brimming in her eyes. “Sorry doesn’t erase the betrayal or the pain. You all treated me like I didn’t matter, and now I can’t even trust you to fix it. I’m done.”

Logan reached out, desperation in his voice. “Please, just… don’t leave like this. We can work things out. I’ll do whatever it takes to make it right.”

Amber’s resolve hardened. “There’s nothing left to say. I’ve made my decision.”

With a final, pained look at Logan, Amber opened the door and stepped out into the night. The cold air hit her like a slap, but it was nothing compared to the emotional chill left behind. Logan watched, paralyzed, as she walked away, her figure dissolving into the darkness. The X-Men stood in the doorway, their faces masks of guilt and despair, as the weight of Amber’s departure and the impact of their actions sank in.
