Here, for the first time, I combined my song with my series idea and filmed a scene from my script. The series idea is called "The Rise of the Fairhair Dynasty" and is currently an idea for a third Viking series. To present the idea, I had the idea back then to film scenes myself. Since I write songs myself, in addition to acting in front of the camera, I also made the creative decision to use one of my own songs in the video.

Several years ago, I stood by a river in winter, partially covered with ice. Since it's been a while, I painted a brief abstract study of the scene. Since memories can fade over time, I painted the image as I imagine a faded memory might look.

On the left, you can see my sketch. With this image, I just had the idea that instead of using charcoal to draw the shadows, I would take a different approach and paint Nanna as I see her.

Here are a few pictures that I painted, and I will play my song along with them. The pictures are short studies, and in this video, I have combined painting and songwriting.

When you are at a filming location that is over 4000 years old and you are about to shoot a scene...
