The queens and swimming

• The true MVP is Kitty out here with a T-shirt and swim trunks

• She’s way too nervous about revealing skin, and everyone understands

• She might take off the shorts, but never her shirt/rash guard. u can’t see her chest. impossible

• Mainly because she’s super duper shy about Cleavage, but also uhhh swimsuits are more revealing than her costume and u can see the scars and bite marks left from her previous life and she gets Anxious when people See Them so

• They all prefer the lake because chlorine smells Bad

• So they go off to a lake house that they decided to rent

• Anne literally fought Cleves for the towel with pineapples on it

• Jane always makes sure everyone has sunscreen on. if they even LOOK at the water without being sprayed she won’t let them go in

• After getting doused in sunscreen, they all go to the little boardwalk on the shore to the inspect the water

• That’s when they all pick up on the SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP sound that gets increasingly louder until Kitty barrels straight through them. she doesn’t even warn them. she just sprints and jumps in

• They all watch in horror as the baby of the group slowly sinks into the dark water until not even her pink hair could be seen. then, a second later, she emerges like a two thousand year old river monster coming out of a deep slumber for the first time in centuries and is like “Water Good”

• Parr always, ALWAYS, freaks out when she gets into the water because Cold

• Cleves and Anne just jump in

• Kitty is perfectly content with water, even though the queens think she’s afraid of it (despite her swan dive), but the moment her foot touches something she’s oUT OF THERE

• Her toe makes 0.4 seconds of contact with something slimy?? She’s gonna jump six feet out of the water and scramble for the nearest shoreline

• Eventually she’s coaxed off of land and gets back in

• Jane and Aragon are the moms who mainly stay on the land but they actually do get in quite a bit

• They even jump!!

• Parr always has goggles

• Anne just opens her eyes underwater

• Cleves and Anne are constantly dueling in the water. Parr and Kitty are lookin for cool things in the water

• One time Aragon and Jane were talking and then they noticed it was...really quiet. too quiet. so they got up and hurried to the pier to see their four disaster kids fucking halfway across the lake

• Parr bought a remote control boat and Anne drove it into Kitty’s face on accident

• Literally everyone lunges for her when she sinks and Jane is freaking out because OH MY GOD IS THAT BLOOD?!?!

• Jane gets to her first because of an ungodly burst of Mama Bear Strength

• Katherine is choking. because she’s laughing so hard. also her nose is bleeding

• Aragon tries to relax on a tube. she gets flipped by Anne

• Cleves??? caught a fish with her bare hands??

• Parr knows the name of EVERY FISH for some reason

• Okay Anne’s the asshole who is like ’mARCO POLO’ and gets out of the water yelling back “POLO” as she walks away

• There she goes

• She’s gone

• There’s this buoy(?) in the water that’s attached to a rope and anchor and the four disaster kids try to get to the bottom by following the rope. Kitty almost drowns because she uses all her oxygen going down. Anne almost drowns trying to save her. Cleves has to her both of them. Parr is shaking her head on the board they brought out to rest on

• Jane buys THE BEST floaties

• You know the swan?? and dolphin?? she’s got those

• CHICKEN FIGHTS

• At first it’s Cleves and Kitty vs. Anne and Parr but neither in the latter team could carry each other on their shoulders

• So they switched. It’s so easy for Anne to carry Kittt it’s almost worrying

• You want angst?? I got angst

• Some drunk Lake/River Guy harassing Kitty

• He tries to force her shirt off and she starts having a panic attack

• He attempts to calm her because he doesn’t want to cause a scene, he just wants his dick sucked, but it’s too late

• They Have Noticed

• Anne and Cleves TACKLE THIS GUY

• Jane catches Kitty when she collapses and gently soothes her

• She gets Aragon to carry her back to their spot while Parr watches over Anne and Cleves, who are practically drowning Douche-Face

• Katherine ends up falling asleep next to Jane on one of the chairs

• Anne and Katherine wanted to fill the pool with Orbeez
