Massive fuck you to everyone who is talking about Palestinians as if we’re already all dead and sharing more solidarity with our corpses than us living. “We will never forget the beautiful Palestinian people-“ how about you stop “making peace” with Palestinian extermination. My people are not going to be forgotten because we are going to live. Palestinians have already survived one genocide and have been surviving one ever since.

Do you want to read a spoken word poetry book I wrote as an Asian native Pasifika artist who’s a songwriter and spoken word poet? It’s about being a disabled native, a displaced disconnected state side diaspora, being an Asian Native (as a Vietnamese Kinh, French, Chinese Hoa, & Polynesian Tahitian Indigenous Pasifika person of color), & about being a QTIPOC (queer and trans third gender Indigenous person of color). I have been working on it for a long time as a storykeeper, language keeper, and culture keeper. It includes a personal foreword and personal afterword to Indigenous people specifically Polynesian, Micronesian, and Melanesian audiences. Im also a writer and creator who writes bipoc and qtipoc futurism in magical high fantasy and science fiction books comics and graphic novels. My bipoc and qtipoc futurism project called Chronicles of War is a cyberpunk science fiction and magical high fantasy hybrid comic book or graphic novel series. It is precontact and post land back. That is about several queer and trans indigenous people of color or qtipoc main characters. One is a Asian pasifika/Afro latine native demigod metahuman and alien hybrid superhuman superhero in a cyberpunk world in the near and far future. The other is an afro Asian native coded spellcaster fighter and gunslinger adventurer in a magical high fantasy world. Both of them are qtipoc and bipoc. There are other bipoc and qtipoc main characters in other worlds pre contact and post land back. It has Black, Native, poc, queer, trans, & disabled representation. Update:
She went 'missing' in Seoul.
She then posted an apology on her Instagram.
She's now reportedly on an early flight to Tehran.
Allegedly her brother was arrested and she was threatened to be incarcerated in Evin prison.
Her apology is very likely forced, done under pressure from the regime.
It's still unclear if she faces prison upon her return to Iran, if she'll has her passport taken away and if she'll ever compete again.
I need each and every person who sees this to pay attention to what is going on with the Indian Child Welfare Act.
The same SCOTUS that refered to tribal land as a territory of the state is about to hear a case that might overturn ICWA.
ICWA allows Alaska Natives and Native Americans control over the adoption and foster care placement of Native American and Alaska Children. In practice what this ensures is that if a Native American or Alaska Native child cannot be raised with their parents', the extended family will be given custody. If the extended family cannot care for the child, the child is placed with a family in their tribe or, barring that, with a family who is Native American or Alaska Native.
This act is important for two reasons:
For centuries, Native Americans and Alaska Natives were forcibly assimilated into White culture. From the 1800s to the late 1900s, children were taken from their families and either adopted out to White people or put in boarding schools. If parents refused, they were sometimes incarcerated, and they could lose custody of their other children. There are cases where tribes would hide their children and tell people who came that they had none...so the white people started showing up uannounced. The children sent to these schools were abused. Some were murdered. And survivors still live with the trauma. ICWA was passed to stop this...but not even 50 years after it being passed, it's at risk.
Native Americans and Alaska Natives are constitutionally guaranteed sovereignty. We all know the government picks and chooses when it wants to honor that, but Native Americans and Alaska Natives are supposed to have sovereignty. The idea that one country can step in and tell sovereign tribes and nations that they are not allowed to control the placement of their own children should be absurd. The U.S. doesn't tell Britain what to do with their foster care system...but the SCOTUS knows that Native Americans and Alaska Natives don't have an army or navy like Britain does. Because of this the SCOTUS believes it has the right to violate years of precedent and treaties. It knows that it will be protected no matter what it decides.
So I'm asking people to keep an eye on ICWA. I'm asking them to boost the signal. And I'm asking them to protest if it falls.

Yum so good! Is it worth baking?
Answer: yes.
What does it taste like? It tastes a bit like black sesame ice cream if you have tried it. Or it might taste similar to peanut butter cookies. The sesame shortbread cookie is sweet and roasted sesame flavor. Soft and crunchy.
I crushed black sesame and honey to make black sesame paste using an online recipe.
The recipe I used for the shortbread and sesame paste, I will post later on.
I will also update on this other recipe I’m trying out, star of anise shortbread because I wanted to make cookies for the holidays.
