undiagnosed autistic raph having meltdowns and feeling terrible afterwards

raph complaining to spike about all the noise mikey is making, and leo grabbed his arm today and it made his skin crawl, and the smell of whatever someone is making for dinner is making him sick and he just wants to hit something

raph struggling to show affection or socialize in “standard” ways, and everyone interpreting him as standoffish because of it

raph being a biter, lol (same)

splinter’s lessons on controlling his temper not working because splinter doesnt realize raph is lashing out because he’s overstimulated or having his space invaded, and also probably struggling from hardcore autistic burnout

ALSO once they realize raph is autistic, his mask slowly coming down, and everyone’s lives being better for it. yeah, now raph is more openly “weird”, but he’s obviously happier

I like to imagine 2012!Raph and Rise!Mikey become the type of best friends that vent to each other because they know the other will get just as worked up about the situation as they are
