Hello. Just curious about your bias list. Do you have one. Love you storie and pls continue
Thank you for your ask.
I guess I do have a bias list, but it's complicated.
While BTS was the first group I biased, stuck by Monsta X was the very first K-Pop song I ever heard... Then I found Got7's variety shows and I fell down a rabbit hole.
Here is my bias list as clear and concise as I can make it:
---------------------------------------
BTS:
Jin: My Husband; he is pretty much everything that I've ever wanted in a husband and a best friend. He is a beautiful human being... More so inside than out, believe it or not.
Yoongi: My Daddy. I don't even know where to begin with him. He is so gifted when it comes to human language... Not just Korean and not just English... It's like he FEELS it and can convey it back to us no matter what regional language it comes from. His personality seems to be mine, truly to a T. I desperately want the World to turn this man loose because he is capable of so much greatness on so many levels.
Namjoon: My Weekend Lover...This man... I truly don't even know where to begin. First and foremost, he feeds my craving for intelligence. He is so incredibly smart but he twists it and uses it in a musical way. As much as I hate to say it, had he been born American, he would have won Nobel Peace prizes by now... Not just for his lyrics, but for his general and PERFECT understanding of The Human Condition. I'm not really one to believe in reincarnation, but this is not this man's first time here. He will accomplish so much good in this world if humanity just lets him.
Hobi: My Sunshine and Motivational Lover. We already know according to previous interviews that Hobi really isn't the sunshine that he's made out to be. I really don't know how he does it, but he has never failed to put a smile on my face and a promise of a good day in my heart. Bless this man.
Jimin: My ULTIMATE bias, my reason for breathing, my everything. Where do I even begin? The very first K-pop video that I ever saw was Blood Sweat and Tears. My niece showed it to me after playing Stuck by Monsta X... my very first K-pop song and "We On", my very first BTS song. I was curious from there, so she showed me BTS performance of Blood Sweat and Tears Live. I won't lie, my first impression of Jimin was that he HAD to be an alien because he was too perfect!! From there I watched every performance and every fancam... And I realized that he owned my ass!! I, then, watched videos that showed his personality and realized I was correct. He is my ultimate bias and he always will be.
Taehyung: My kyfjtjd... No that is not a misspelling, Tae is the only human being to ever make me "keyboard smash" in real life language. He literally makes me short circuit. He is so UNGODLY PHENOMENALLY BEAUTIFUL... His voice is so unique...I have no words.
Jungkook: My very first bias wrecker and the very first K-pop singer to make me cry with his voice; specifically his cover of Paper Hearts. At first I truly didn't understand what a bias wrecker was until I got curious one night and searched up everything Jungkook on YouTube. This boy..... He has a voice that I can only classify as "breathless" because when he sings, no matter WHAT he sings, he leaves you absolutely breathless.
-----------------------------------------
GOT 7:
JB: My bias and how could he not be? He has the voice of an Angel, but the stare of a demon. Also the personality that he puts forth, fits with mine. Everything about him draws me to him and my gut tells me, "yes this is my human".
Mark: The only word that I can use to describe Mark is "impressive". From what I understand he is a Taiwanese man, born and raised in Los Angeles... America... But he still travelled to Korea to not only learn a new language, but to learn how to become an idol in a totally new environment. He's also extremely athletically inclined and probably one of my favorite rappers ever because of his vocal tone and pitch.
Jinyoung: I already know that I'm wrong and I'm going to catch hell for this, but the way that he is with the fans... Flicking their love away and laughing at them... It's not catchy, it's not cute, and it's not interesting. I find it mean and offensive. To me, I don't find him genuine or appreciative of Ahgase love. I do not like Jinyoung and I'm sorry.
Jackson: This demon. 9 times out of 10, I can look at this man and respect and appreciate all that he does. He's sweet, intelligent, multitalented.... He's going to rule the world one day and that's a world that I will be proud to be a part of.
Youngjae: My first bias wrecker in GOT7. The voice of an ACTUAL Angel sent to Earth. This man...*whew* he seems so open, loving, genuine. He was born to be a singer and his voice was meant to carry to the heavens. I can't put into words why I love Youngjae so much, I just do.
Yugyeom: This lil shit... His performance in the music video for Never Ever is what locked it for me. I started paying attention to him and realize just how talented he is. This man needs to be a professional choreographer for EVERYONE; Kpop or not. I can't say that I'm a big fan of his voice, I'm sorry, but the man can literally create brand new angles as he dances. He's like geometry meets human.
BamBam: This evil little monkey... His personality is amazing. I love his sense of humor. I also love his dedication and his heart. This man started out from the womb, determined to take over the world and he will do exactly that. Whether it be in music, fashion, design, filmmaking, or what, Kunpimook Bhuwakul is a FORCE to be reckoned with.
---------------------------------------
Monsta X:
Shownu: This teddy bear... The literal definition of a "roll with the punches" type of guy. A natural protector and the first to volunteer. Let's not forget that he has the voice of any worldwide powerhouse. He will go so far in this life.
Wonho: Right off the bat, I'm going to tell you that this is going to hurt. While Wonho was not my immediate bias (Jooheon...thanks to his variety show episode with Jackson Wang where they went and had dinner in a restaurant and I thought that was Jooheon was The Living End even before I knew who Monsta X was)... Wonho WAS the first one to catch my attention. Because of him, I watched all of the variety shows with Monsta X and really got to see Lee Hoseok's personality... This man... I don't even know where to begin with him!! He is so beautiful, talented, sweet, creative... I literally cannot find a fault with this man. Lee Hoseok seems to be everything that everyone aspires to be, but is too lazy or self-centered to actually follow through with. This man would give his very soul to not only help people, but to give them any kind of happiness. This man has NEVER once put himself before others and would literally sacrifice his own life and DIE to help others. For what he is already done, most people consider him an angel, but apparently his home country considers him less than dirt beneath their feet. I will never understand that and I will always fight against it. Lee Hoseok aka Wonho is the only human being alive that threatens Jimin for the role of my ultimate bias... Anyone that knows Wonho won't question this.
Minhyuk: Thank you, Lawd, for letting this man bless us with his talents even though he was so obviously meant to be a teacher or a father. I'm not sure that I've ever seen another human being that was so obviously put on this Earth to help others until now. Regardless of what he decides to do, this world is a better place because Lee Minhyuk is in it.
Kihyun: I guess he would be considered my bias wrecker... Because his voice is one of the few sounds on this Earth that can make me stop dead in my tracks. I used to have a list of vocal geniuses that I ranked. At that time, Chen from Exo and Jungkook from BTS were the ultimate and no one could beat them... Then I heard the audio version and then saw the video/concert version of Lost in a Dream. No person or song has ever literally brought me to my knees the way Kihyun did with his solo at the end of this song. Yes Jimin from BTS might be my ultimate bias, but Kihyun and that voice of his would be the only thing to make me question that decision.
Hyungwon: This pretty little stick... He's such an intense but welcome surprise. Everyone knows that he's absolutely beautiful and that he has experience as a model. We also know him to be the warm-and-fuzzy baritone voice of Monsta X... But what I think a lot of people don't know, including myself up until recently, is how insanely talented he is as a dancer. He looks like a paper doll that would crumble when you tell him to execute a dance move... When in all reality he's the one behind the scenes creating the dance moves like they were a part of his very being. This man is such an insanely talented dancer and I wish more people knew.
Jooheon: Honey... I don't even know where to begin with this man. Not only is he absolutely drop-dead, heart-stopping, gorgeous, but his heart... He cares about things and loves people so much... probably the LEAST selfish person that I've ever seen in my time alive on this planet. He is so multi-talented... Multilingual, a fierce and important rapper, a beautiful local legend. We do not deserve him.
Changkyun: not only is he absolutely adorable, but he is a linguistic genius. Not only does language itself seem to come natural to him, but he seems to be able to bend it to his will. If this man hadn't been a rapper, he would have been born to be a writer or a speaker... I promise you.
This answer got entirely too long and I can only hope that that it will actually post without distorting or deleting.
Pardon me for a moment, but I had a fucked up day at work, (including a customer calling in and threatening suicide over $162 I WISH I was kidding, but I'm not) Christmas has NO meaning at all to me and I'm going to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at work because I have no where else to be. I've also had a pint of whiskey but that's neither here nor there.
I wanna talk about the Wonho situation.
Now I've not been a Monbebe THAT long, but it's been long enough I did this... proudly...

and I'm beyond disgusted by the way Wonho has been treated. Like I said in my Twitter update, Wonho did the equivalent of farting in public (in America) and he's been thrown in the garbage. ENOUGH.
I don't give two shits or a rats ass if he smoked weed. Good for him. I'm allergic to the shit, but if it worked for him, more power to him.
Now, he owes some money. Whoopty shit, so does everyone in America if you were born after 1972 because; taxes. Besides, what he owes? He could pay off five times over and not notice.
This is so much bullshit.
People wanna act like Lee Hoseok murdered someone and HE DID NOT. People wanna act like he's the scum of the earth...HE IS NOT.
I'm over it!! Square up, StarSHIT, I'm ready to dance. I'm tired of y'all making our bunny out to be a demon when his fans, especially me, is more hellbound than he'll ever be.
Swallow (or choke...I DON'T care) on your pride and BRING π HIM πHOMEπ before I fly out there and knock you so flat, you'll have to roll down your socks to shit!!
Signed,
An angry Monbebe who's had enough.

Oh do you now, Monsta X??
It better be Jooheony fully healthy and happy...

And Lee Hoseok coming home to us!!
