this is apparently an unpopular opinion in the shifting community but it is so god damn harmful to make people think they cannot feel their emotions!!!! stop telling people to bottle up how they feel, and that they won’t shift if they feel anything but gratitude and happiness!!! i will fight you!!!

JJ’s favorite place is your bed. Not because it’s where you are so vulnerable and open with, but because it’s his safe space. As much as he loves you, he’s happy in your bed if you’re in it with him or not. He’s never been spoiled with expensive memory foam pillows and pure cotton sheets. He’s used to sleeping on hard surfaces and broken couches with paper-thin blankets to keep him warm. He’s never felt the incredible feeling of wrapping himself in a soft west elm blanket while watching his favorite movie on your computer. The fact that everything not only reminds him of you, but smells like you only helps to lull him to sleep within minutes. Just imagine his reaction when you give him a west elm blanket just like yours covered in your perfume for christmas. It lives at the chateau until he brings it along with him to your house. Though, when it’s at the chateau, it remains in the guest room and no one is allowed to touch it. Because god forbid someone ruins the one thing he cherishes as much as he cherishes you.
