Sanemi as Frisk story pt. 1

“Sanemi! Sanemi!” Rengoku cried out. He was in Sanemi’s estate, he was trying to find Sanemi. Why? Sanemi had come back from a mission two months ago, and the day after that, he was gone. Rengoku thought it was another mission at first, but after six days, he grew worried. He wasn’t the only one though, all the other Hashiras, especially Iguro and Mitsuri, were worried. It might have just been a long journey, but he has never gone for a mission in over a month. Rengoku was to find him in his estate, but still, no answer. He eventually reached his room, it was dark. Rengoku turned on a candle, he didn’t see anything…He was about to leave when something caught the corner of his eye…a note? Knowing it might have something to do with Sanemi’s disappearance, Rengoju grabbed it gently, hesitating to open it. When he did open it, he was met with words that could be written by Sanemi’s hand. ‘Hey….um…I’m bad at writing stupid things like this’ Rengou could defiently tell it was Sanemi now ‘but hey, whoever is reading this note, I just want to say a few things’ Before Rengoku continued, he heard a banging sound. Rengoku closed the note and ran out of the room. He sighed, it was only Uzui, he had crashed into a tree while not looking around “Ugh….that was the most flamboyant crash I ever did!” Said Uzui, proudly. Rengoku giggled, he saw Mitsuri helping Uzui up, and most likely Iguro giving Uzui a death stare, before heading back in Sanemi’s room to continue reading the note ‘So first of all, I’m not who you think I am’ Rengoku hesitated. ‘Not who we think he is…? What does he mean?’ Rengoku wondered before launching his eyes back inside the note ‘My name isn’t Sanemi’ Rengoku froze. His name…..it wasn’t what they would always call him? Rengoku snapped out of the daze and continued reading ‘My real name is Frisk, Frisk Dreemuur. I was adopted into the Shinazugawa family when I was 9.’. ‘Frisk…?’ Rengoku thought before smiling “That’s a nice name” he said aloud, and continued to read. ‘And I lied to you guys….there are other species besides Humans and Demons…and I’m not talking about animals. They are called Monsters.’ Rengoku stiffened. Those were the creatures that Shinobu had told him legends about. ‘Shinobu’s legends are true…but they do not live in Japan. They live in a different state. I…I used to be friends with them.’. Rengoku frowned, he had known Sanemi hated demon-like creatures, so why did he hide this…? Did he think they would judge him? Rengoku continued reading ‘I feel like such an idiot abandoning them. I had two choices. To stay or to leave. I choose to leave. Close to a week after I left, people had found me and they chose to put me in a family in Japan. Then other things happened….and now, I remember them back at them. They were the most important people to me. I’m sorry but…I can’t really take it anymore.’ Rengoku paused. What couldn’t Sanemi take? He was one of the strongest people he’s ever met, what could he not take? Rengoku only thought of three things ‘...Maybe it was guilt, it was a burden, or perhaps…pressure?’ Rengoku shook his head, he could never be sure unless he read the next section, but after he did, he regretted it. ‘I resign from being a Hashira, you guys will probably be surprised but..I really cannot take it anymore. I’ve tried…but the demons I faced recently, I couldn’t stop imagining the Monsters' scared faces…I couldn’t help but see all of them! They…they are so innocent! It hurts my heart to see them sad and broken more than anything else!’ Rengoku smiled, though he could not help but be a little jealous of those Monsters. After all, the writing proved that Sanemi cared more about the Monsters than the Hashiras, or even any humans. Rengoku looked back into the note ‘If you want to learn more about this, go to a corner of my room, I made extra tapes for this. Look at the Camera, if you want to learn more…’ That was all the note said.

Uzui smirked “I like that guy as well!”. Rengoku sighed and grabbed the camera, Uzui snatched it right back “Hey! I’m the one who’s going to pick the videos we are watching!” Uzui did a smug look, while Rengoku just sighed plainly, giving in and allowing Uzui to select the videos. Uzui pressed on one of them
