also, and HUGE SPOILER WARNING AHEAD, how exactly am i not to assume that there’s a 90% chance that two people are mysteriously-separated siblings when they are both orphans, share a similar burn mark that neither of them remembers getting, used to live in the same area, their past is kind of shrouded in mystery, the girl’s brother is clearly not her biological brother, yada yada yada

i actually would prefer it if this remake did away with this detail if only to surprise us a little

I like how this drama deals with lee su-yeon and his hand like we see this guy who's competent and confident enough in his work but he has this side he just can't bring himself to open up about even to this person he likes and knows that understands him (han yo-reum) because well, don't we all?

This is so well written, Seung-Ah is ignorant but she doesn't know it and her being a good person but ignorant without knowing it puts her in such a grey area. I get it, her upbringing made her that way but still, i have mixed feelings about her character

Seung Ah is really cute but she is also very. Let’s go with naive ? She’s not at all connected to reality and she sees only what she wants to see. That’s how she’s able to contact Jin Kang so easily, without a word of apology, after the slapping incident. Moo Young is partly to blame of course as he is not being clear at all with her. But most people would have guessed something was very wrong in their relationship if their boyfriend or girlfriend had been ignoring their 36 messages. Even her plan to run away is highly childish and sounds more like a dream than anything else. Seung Ah doesn’t know how real life works because she was never in the world in which Moo Young and Jin Kang live in. She is privileged and it shows. She’s not a bad person but she’s someone with who I have a hard time empathising, although I do have sympathy for her.

I liked how jin kang's character is portrayed. Is she attracted to moo young, even if it's just a little? Yes, does she know it's wrong since she can't betray seung-ah like that? Yes

Maybe one of the things moo-young likes about her is her guilty conscience which he may or may not lack?
