You've tried to escape, but you were almost successful (if it wasn't for the trail of guards on the floor that you defeated leaving a trail behind to show where you went)

After trying to run away numerous times, he starts to manipulate you

"You think the people out there will help you? They are ruthless people out there who won't be afraid to use and kill you."

"You're better off here, where it's safe than out there where you could get killed."

"You want to leave? Fine, don't come crying back to me when people try to kill you."

Around the time he manipulates you, the stockholm syndrome kicks in

You start to see him as a loving man whose love is the only love you need

He is beyond thrilled when this happens

All he wanted was you to love him the same way he loves you

Now that he has your love, you both rule the quantum realm together and reign Supreme
