Guess what? They don’t owe you anything!

They are not their characters; they are their own human beings with their own lives! They don’t exist purely to fulfill your weird fantasies about the characters they play! They’ve stated they’re still in touch & remain friendly, and that is more than you ever need to know! The reason they keep quiet is probably because of fans like this who demand things from them 24/7

Hello, hope you are doing fine. Im sorry, but I have to rant a little bit. So both Lando and Danny were not allowed to meet people at Goodwood because of covid bubbles. Yet Danny was allowed to go to Wimbledon and Lando is attending the final tonight. And I think they are mingling with a lot more people there. I dont know, it just seems unfair, especially for he people who attended the festival.

I don't know what were the plans or expectations for Goodwood. Unless there would be a planned meet-and-greet or something, I think it's not really fair to expect the drivers to meet with fans (the most obvious reason being covid of course, but team could have any reason to not allow it). Yes, it's nice when drivers are available for fans, but it shouldn't be taken for granted as when there is nothing officially arranged, it's just about pure luck. It shouldn't be expected and even worse - demanded.

(and to be honest, I don't think it's the same when someone goes to VIP section of sport event and meeting random people who in many cases don't even follow simple rules)

no because patrick and tashi saw each other as equals in a way they NEVER saw art. they both have wealthy family (though patrick is estranged from his) and are tennis prodigies. and most of all they are people who obfuscate and hide what they really think and want. art isn’t like them and they know it— he’s desperate and has to work hard at tennis and, though he tries sometimes to manipulate them, he is BAD at it. patrick and tashi fall apart because, fundamentally, they don’t like each other that much, even though they’re “on the level” with each other. NOT because art masterminded it. but here’s the thing: even though they both saw art as beneath them, they LIKE him better. art is the one they both want to be with. and in a way THEY are The Challengers, not patrick and art.
