About a week ago I posted this.

I’ve been getting horrible messages like this in my ask for months, including:

After getting the message saying “Just go kill yourself” I was completely done dealing with this person’s horrible messages and replied with just an “Okay.” and logged off tumblr.

About a week later I logged back on with 17 messages in my ask, most of them from the anon. I scrolled down and at first when I logged off, the anon messaged me things like

I scrolled up more and all of a sudden they started sending me more and more messages like

This was extremely surprising to me. I thought “After all those horrible messages you sent to me for MONTHS about hating me and wanting me dead, you say ‘sorry’ and that you ‘cant be responsible for someone’s suicide’?”

But I guess the lesson goes like this:

DONT TELL ANYONE TO KILL THEMSELVES UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED FOR WHAT MIGHT ACTUALLY HAPPEN

welcome, paulkins fans, to the final stages of this first paulkins week! i am elated to he presenting the finalized prompts list to you all; thank each and every one of you for the ideas and feedback during planning :] a q&a is under the cut for easy access !

Q; what is this event?

A; a celebration of the relationship between paul matthews and emma perkins!

Q; do i have to do all seven days?

A; absolutely not! you can do any combination of days you'd like; pick and choose what sounds fun for you :]

Q; what are alternates?

A; alternates are alternative prompts you can do in place of any given prompt for a day. for example: you arent the biggest fan of day fives prompt, so you do something for 'deity' instead!

Q; what can i make?

A; anything that comes to mind! draw, write, edit, make a moodboard or a stimboard; truly anything you can think of works!

Q; how do i post?

A; just like normal, just with the tag "#paulkins week" so i can see your wonderful pieces; i'll be watching the tag all week! if you want to be extra sure it gets to me, feel free to tag this account in your post :]

Q; can i still post if i'm late?

A; absolutely! i'll keep checking the tag up to a week after the final day, (so up to the 19th) and anything posted within that timeframe will be tagged "#honorable mentions"

Q; can i post to other places? (ex. ao3, instagram)

A; yes!! just make sure you also post it here, or link to your post elsewhere, if you want it to be featured on the blog

Q; can i post an already existing WIP if it fits a prompt?

A; for sure! just be sure you haven't already posted it anywhere in the past

Q; can i post nsfw content for the week?

A; if you feel so inclined, absolutely! the only thing i ask is that you be 18+ years old yourself if you plan on it. anything smutty will be tagged "#hatchetfield after dark" for filtering purposes

Q; will there be an ao3 collection for this event?

A; yes! i'll be making it a few days before the week starts :]
