The car door opened and knew it was you, sitting with that beautiful smile of yours when your eyes meet, and so he grins.

You push up onto your elbows, shoot him an offended glare before flopping back down to look at the ceiling. He huffs a laugh before walking towards you, he doesn’t even have to say anything for your legs to lift into the air, making room for him to sit before they plop back down onto his lap. The warmth immediately seeps into him.

“He’s perfect,” the words make Jungkook’s heart pang. “He’s hot as hell but he’s also so sweet, he bought me a coffee and wrote his number on it next to a little smiley face.”

“Uh…” Your best friend starts scanning the rows of fresh produce, but still makes no move to pick out a bundle of the reddish root vegetables sitting right in front of him.

You laugh and move in front of Jungkook to bag the vegetable in question. “Please tell me you know what a radish looks like for god’s sake.” He huffs next to you and shakes his head.

“How am I supposed to know what they look like! I only ever see them after they’ve been pickled, I guess.” He shrugs. You give him a reassuring pat on the shoulder and toss the small bundle of freshly picked produce into the wicker bag he’s holding.

“Worry not, my friend. Hopefully by the time you graduate college you’ll be able to tell different kinds of vegetables apart.” Your sincere eyes are contrasting to that of your cheeky smile and Jungkook can’t help but roll his eyes at your typical antics.
