Imagine if Scott just randomly remembers Jimmy's name, cause the sheriff will only be called the sheriff and no one will know his real name.

It'll go like this:

Scott: oh and Jimmy make sure to-

Sheriff: Scott. *Deadpans* what did you just call me Scott.

Scott: wait your name is Jimmy? (3rd life voice) HII JIMMY! :)

Or it'll just be Scott guessing Jimmy's name randomly

Scott: I bet your names something scruffy, like James.

Sheriff: *nervous sweating* my name's not anything scruffy

Scott: oh god you look like a Jimbo, or Jimmy.

Sheriff: Scott stop.

Scott: oh my god.

A Mess of a Ness-t

Scott loved Jimmy, and he loved living together. For the most part, it was incredibly domestic. There was, however, one thing that really bothered Scott.

Jimmy left his messes everywhere. He wasn’t messy in the usual sense - he always made sure to wash his dishes and clean up after himself when he cooked or baked. The real issues came with Jimmy’s feathers.

Jimmy shed his feathers all the time. It had never been so bad before, even when Scott would preen Jimmy’s wings. He had no idea why he was suddenly finding small, yellow feathers in every nook and cranny. He’d flip over a pillow on the couch and reveal one or two, or he’d move a blanket and a few would flutter out, or - on one occasion - he would open the pantry and find a damn feather next to the bread. Scott could live with the feathers scattered around the house, but the ones in their bedroom were becoming particularly annoying. There were tons of feathers in their bed at every given moment.

It was really starting to get on Scott’s nerves.

Update to the Fwhimmy/Rancher/Flower Husbands AU...

To those who don't know, I've had an AU idea of sheriff Jimmy being romantically courted by three rival empires who all want his heart. Cue intense rivalry and a very flustered Jimmy trying to douse tensions from boiling over.

Today, I was thinking on some Greek myths and recalled how Eris, Goddess of Discord, set-off the domino of the Trojan War by throwing a golden apple to Athena, Aphrodite and Hera. She adds that the apple should be prized to whichever goddess is the most beautiful, setting the gods up for a lot of... shenanigans later on.

To which my brain replied "this sounds like what Joel Smallishbeans would do for fun."

So now my initial idea of Scott, fWhip, and Tango all sniping each other for Jimmy is amended as something that was planned by Joel all along. Maybe the three empires disrespected God Joel somehow and so he influenced some events in return. Through subtle ways, Joel made sure Jimmy would set up Tumble Town nearby, bringing the three rulers to know his wet-cat charm and British-western demeanor.

The result was more entertaining than he could imagine until Jimmy shows agency and starts to accept he's gone for all three emperors.
