It has been so many years since IT was human, the sensations of having arms and legs and being more than a shoe are strange and unnatural. It struggles to form thoughts, but can't. Only instincts and sensations remain. Presented with a shiny new pair of shoes and told to lick, it does so. Not knowing why, only that it likes to obey the voice of its Owner, and it likes the taste of his new shoes, being under Owner's feet feels right. It wants to make its Owner happy, that's the only desire it has left. It will serve under his feet same as always, it will relearn how to use its human body to worship him, but even then it will still be nothing but a loyal subservient object on the inside.
