After a two years and change of playing, one of my favorite things about Marvel Snap is the ways in which the card mechanics are themed after/used to allude to character relationships;

Fitting the Annihilation-era idea that the GOTG are supposed to be a reactive defensive force, most GOTG cards punish your opponent for playing cards at their location- with the exception of Nebula, who baits your opponent into playing cards in a specific location, and Yondu, who preemptively murks a target of opportunity in your opponent's deck without provocation

Many of the Avengers-associated characters (Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ant-man, Hawkeye, Black Panther) are individually so-so in their power levels but rapidly snowball if played to the same location

Most Wakanda/Atlantis-associated cards are structured around juicing up a single card deployed as a big finish; of these, Black Panther is the only one who isn't penalized and even benefits from being played to the same location as his allies, while Namor, Attila and Orka need to be alone at their locations to gain power

The X-Men lineup features a host of location lockdown, movement, destruction and immunity-to-destruction effects that can be used in conjunction with each other to emulate the team's signature drilled tactical maneuvers

Venom and Carnage both destroy all cards at their location, but Venom is strictly numerically superior because he absorbs the strength of what he destroys while Carnage only gets a flat 2-point bonus; Carnage being useful as a location-clearing attack dog who's cheaper to deploy than the brand-name symbiote

Wolverine as a character who gets jerked around a lot but also gets progressively stronger as the result of his experiences, warts and all; Sabretooth as a foil who never meaningfully improves but also just won't go away

Hulk and She-Hulk absorbing unused energy to grow more powerful; Red Hulk growing more powerful in kind when an opponent attempts to feed their hulks this way, as a direct counter to doing so

All SHEILD-associated cards act as recruiters, press-ganging eclectic groups of characters who wouldn't be caught dead together unprompted; The Helicarrier does this when discarded, implying to me that you're receiving whichever capes crawled out of the wreckage following its most recent crash

Caduceus's vision at the end of his origins comic contains nine butterflies: one for every member of the Mighty Nein, counting himself and Essek.

Caduceus's Vision At The End Of His Origins Comic Contains Nine Butterflies: One For Every Member Of

Not only that: there's the purple and red one, representing Molly. And then... the colours don't come through so well in this picture, but there are two blue ones (Beau and Jester). Two are green and yellow (Fjord and Nott/Veth). One is silvery-blue and white (Yasha). One is orange (Caleb). One is lavender and white (Essek). And one is pinkish and green (Cad himself).

At the loneliest time of his life, the Wildmother promised Caduceus every last member of his second family, and showed him that he wouldn't just be visited by them. He'd be one of them.
