no but I think that Oswald’s dad is supposed to be a parallel to Henry (at least to Pit Bonnie and the memories that he is holding).

1. He never actually killed the dad. He kept him alive the whole time he was up in the real world. Like how despite William felt about Henry, he never attempted to hurt him directly in any physical way.

2. Not only that but pit Bonnie kept him hidden in the SAME ROOM where he had the picture of William and Henry.

3. The dad has a very similar aura to Henry’s (a good working father and supportive of his son ) which is also what William was jealous of.

4.Being so obsessed with him to the point where he would wear his skin is something the past william would do let’s be real (re TSE: “from wild jealousy to near devotion”)

5. That’s also another reason why he got upset in the good ending. Oswald’s dad escaped and the picture was hit away from his hands simultaneously. He realized in that moment that this wasn’t the real Henry and he will never have him again.

He was snapped back to reality, the one where things can never go back to normal and he had no one to blame but himself
