OK Maybe I'm too much of a scientist or something but like... where did the stereotype that volcanoes are a prehistoric thing come from? Different time periods have different levels of volcanism, but like, the Mesozoic wasn't particularly high or anything, frankly, a lot of volcanic activity that still affects us today was in the Eocene, 10 million years after the Mesozoic ended... where did this "Dinosaurs fight in front of volcanoes" Trope even come from like what there are still volcanoes today y'all know that right
You ever think about how incredibly weird Azhdarchids were?
Like, they had huge heads, very long necks, relatively small wings that they could nonetheless fly with, which they (probably) achieved by pole-vaulting themselves into the air with their bones. They could likely get around on land by galloping like horses, and probably ate anything that they could fit in The Beak, like pelicans.
Also they were this big.

I think it was actually smart and responsible of kate to hire rose bc if she didn't do that rose would be investigating aliens on her own for sure and absolutely getting herself into dangerous situations alone with no resources but working at unit kate can keep her on less dangerous tasks while she's still a kid. the perpetual job of lethbridge-stewarts is to babysit ppl who would otherwise go run headfirst into danger and kate knows that

one of my favourite things to do when fifteen does something fifteen-ish is to imagine one of the classic doctors doing that. because they're literally the same person and I tend to forget that so it really brings me back to earth to imagine two going clubbing (he is overstimulated) or five flirting with rogue (he is bright red and bad at it) or one calling ian babes etc etc. you see the vision.
