HE MUFFLED A STARTLED GASP BEHIND HIS PALM , cowering down in his seat turning a very deep pink. he shouldn’t be too surprised that he was caught staring at the back of his friend’s head , he wasn’t being exactly what you’d call stealthily , after all. ❛ i - i’m sorry , kacchan, ❜ he whispered , trying to be quiet and not disrupt mr . aizawa in middle of class.
he couldn’t help it , you see , he was a bit concerned for the other boy. he had appeared troubled and deep in thought before class began , and it was rather out of character for him. there was obviously something wrong. izuku wanted to wait until class was over , but izuku found himself unable to do so ; he had to figure out what was wrong and find some way to help him , if he wanted. finally , after sitting straight , he leans forward to whisper loud enough for the other to hear. ❛ u - um , kacchan , are you . . . okay ? you don’t seem . . . like yourself. ❜
