Harry is a dark-wizard catcher. Seven years after the war, nearly all of Lord Voldemort’s followers have been captured, tried, and imprisoned. Or else, presumed dead. There isn’t much left to do for an Auror whose glory days are behind him. Isn’t that what Rita Skeeter wrote in her latest column, that Harry Potter has become irrelevant?

Text ID: “He’s not your son,’ said Sirius quietly. ‘He’s as good as,’ said Mrs Weasley fiercely. ‘Who else has he got?’ ‘He’s got me!’ ‘Yes,’ said Mrs Weasley, her lip curling, ‘the thing is, it’s been rather difficult for you to look after him while you’ve been locked up in Azkaban, hasn’t it?’ Sirius started to rise from his chair. ‘Molly, you’re not the only person at this table who cares about Harry,’ said Lupin sharply. ‘Sirius, sit down.’ Mrs Weasley’s lower lip was trembling. Sirius sank slowly back into his chair, his face white.”

Ok but tell me why there would be a scene in which Remus mediates on behalf Sirius the same way Mr. Weasley does for Mrs. Weasley if Remus and Sirius weren’t husbands??????

Text ID: Sometimes, however, the visitors stayed to help. Tonks joined them for a memorable afternoon in which they found a murderous old ghoul durking in an upstairs toilet, and Lupin, who was staying in the house with Sirius but who left it for long periods to do mysterious work for the Order, helped them repair a grandfather clock that had developed the unpleasant habit of shooting heavy bolts at passers-by.

I rest my case.
