Bruce smiled back at her, then took a step back. He squared his shoulders as Andie knocked on the door, and he shook his head, clearing it. His wrist monitor slowed until it stopped beeping, a warning no longer needed. "I suppose I will," he said, curling and uncurling his fists as they waited.

"Are you sure this is legal?"

"If not I know a couple of brilliant lawyers that would be more than willing to help us out." Andie shrugged, looking over at him. "Don’t worry so much."
