Juggling writing with life has not been easy, but I want to keep the updates of my two fanfictions ("Of monsters and revenge" and "Who are the monsters?") steady.

Still, I anticipated the chapter 22 of "Of monsters and revenge" to commemorate the mark of 40 kudos (I was just to giddy to wait until 50).

As such, chapter 23 will be posted this Saturday, and here is the sneak peek:

The town of Sedorei is yet to fully recover from the drow raid that was inflicted on it five days ago when once again the stillness of its night is interrupted – this time, by the sound of horse hooves and creaking wagon wheels as the reinforcements from Myth Varis arrive. Those that are still awake open their doors and windows, and while some wave and throw flower petals at them, others remain somber: they arrived too late to stop the raid, and there is some skepticism about the possibility of reclaiming those that were taken captive alive.  Inside Green Castle, Thamior is pacing back and forth when one of his loyal guards, Erdan, opens the door.  “My ladies, my lord, the reinforcements of Myth Varis are here.” He says, bowing politely. “Finally!” Thamior exclaims. “Let them in.” Erdan opens the door once again, and a small procession of armored elves make their way inside with surprising company: a woman wearing silver armor adorned with a crescent Moon, her pale hair in an elegant braid, her purple eyes bearing a serene yet determined expression. She is a drow cleric, and the instant she steps in, all eyes are on her.

"White and rugged face Drizzt isn't real, he can't hurt you!" White and rugged face Drizzt:

WHY IS HIS SKIN LIGHTER THAN HIS VIOLET EYES!!! its as light as his white hair!!
