I just watched a clip about how this comedian wanted to hang a mezzuzah but "didn't want to look like a zionist" so he got a watermelon mezzuzah and I just

why do we have to qualify that being jewish and jewish normals doesn't equal supporting Netanyahu??

if I can't have a mezzuzah (or wear a kippah or wear a chai/magen david) without someone reading it as support for the Israeli government, maybe the issue is with them and not the cultural touchstones of a diasporic culture of over 2 thousand years? idk just a thought
