Do you ever just think about how not straight dark academia is? Like sure it's school but like the aesthetic just has so many undertones of like a forbidden gay romance.

Like imagine being dormates with the love of your life, and you often study late into the night together on the library their head resting on your shoulder. In the day you sneak of into a forest to clear your heads and end up kissing in the falling autumn leaves. In the winter you curl up in front of a fire together, in spring you both mess around in fields and in summer you swim together. Everyone remarks on how close friends you are. You quickly whisper words of affection behind corners because if your caught by the teachers you'll be cast out and never see each other again.

When I came out as asexual to two friends, they laughed saying 'such people don't exist', it was hurtful
