Sometimes your progress may not look like progress to others. You respecting your limits and listening to your needs might mean you do less things, rest more and say no more than in the past. Maybe progress for you is actually speaking more up and being more honest about how you are actually doing, being more honest about your health. It can look scary to others and like you are getting worse at first, cause they are not with you every single minute of the day. I am proud of you. You should not feel like you need to apologize for your progress, even if your progress is inconvenient for other people, gets misunderstood and takes time for those around you to understand. Your progress is yours to judge, claim and celebrate. 🌸

I hope you believe that you can still make a beautiful life for yourself even if you lost many years of it to grief, or darkness, depression, or a wound that wouldn't close.
