Where Billy and Danny long before the ghost joined the Justice League and they already know each others secrets due to some silly shenanigans, so at some point, Danny offers to help Billy out with selling the idea that he’s this centuries old champion via time traveling adventures.

So then when Danny (Phantom) does join the Justice League, him and Marvel already treat each other as old friends…almost sibling-like. Mainly talking about their time traveling trips as a way to sell both their covers.

Batman eventually does intensive research to look for past signs of Phantom and Marvel, tracing back centuries of sighting of them, and the interesting thing is that he could find very few sighting of them alone(just a few of Phantom, none of Marvel) just them being together constantly over the periods.

In general, the Justice League get the impression that Phantom and Marvel are related, probably siblings, that have just been sticking together over the centuries and only taken brief moments to separate.

I truly hate the word “unalive.” There are so many other euphemisms that fictional Italian mobsters worked so hard to provide you with and you just ignore them.

Ghosts Tell Me

Ghosts gather near the place where something bad is going to happen,

Danny with his ghost sense tends to notice before anyone else and tends to react outwardly before the danger even happens, gaining a reputation of seeing the future,

Ghosts also tell Danny things, causing Danny to know more about situations and the people around him, it comes of as suspicious.

Danny pulling away a snack from his coworker: "Careful your allergic to these ingredients!"

Coworker: "How the hell...I've never mentioned that to anyone."

Danny on a phone call with his friends while doing his nightly walks in Gotham: "Yeah so apparently the second Robin who is now Red Hood has very personal beef with the clown here cuz he got killed by him after being sold out by his bio mom, which really sucks for the poor guy."

Oracle who has been keeping an Eye on Danny cuz he's very suspicious from an outsiders pov: "Hey B, I think we have a problem."

Danny notices that the ghost in Gotham tends to gather where something bad is going to happen, the more they are the worse the situation will be: *glowing smoke leaves from his mouth* "Yikes! Very bad vibes here, nope!"

Gothamites who at this point recognize him and know the drill and quickly pack up their things to leave:

Just an Idea

OKAY SO YOU KNOW THAT ONE IMAGE. the one where in a broken down corner in an abandoned home sits a small cake, small happy birthday streamer, and two people in fursuits. came across it again the other day, immediately thought of danny and elle for some reason???

This may not be any good (I haven’t written in like a year) and my characterization maybe horrible but I just couldn’t help but write something for your suspected traitor au.

Izuku would rather be anywhere than walking the halls of UA. Everywhere he looked was just a bitter reminder that no matter how much he thought things had changed, they hadn’t.

He made it in front of the door to Class 1-A and he hesitated. He wanted to flee to his dorm, to home, to anywhere else but here. He didn’t want to see any of their faces. He didn’t want to be reminded that they had looked right at him and thought villain.

But he forced himself to open the door and to enter. Despite his racing heart, he steeled himself and found himself slipping back into the safe skin of former habits he had hoped would never see the light of day again.

With each step Izuku took, the mantra of just two more days, just two more days propelled him forward until he had finally reached his desk.

All the desks were full, yet the room was silent and tense. Izuku kept to himself, hunched over his desk writing in his notebook (one of the reasons everyone even thought it was him in the first place).

“Deku…”

His pencil stopped moving but he didn’t even dare to look up at Uraraka.

“Deku,” she continued, “you haven’t been eating lunch with us. We miss you. D-don’t you wanna come sit with us again? Turn things back to normal like they were before…”

Tense seconds passed, and Izuku didn’t reply. Uraraka shakily went back to her seat.

“Why don’t you cut this crap and stop acting like a coward,” Kacchan sneered.

Izuku didn’t look up but he could feel Kacchan’s red eyes piercing him.

“So, you got mistaken for the traitor. Boohoo. Why don’t you just get over it and stop wallowing in your self pity just like you did in middle school.”

The words pierced his heart, and he felt as if the emptiness inside of him was being replaced by a blazing inferno.

Izuku snapped.

A self-deprecating laugh escaped him.

“It’s funny. Out of everyone here, and they thought I was the traitor. That I was a villain. What about you Kacchan? I’m not the one that would use their quirk on classmates. I’m not the one always threatening everyone.”

Izuku looked up.

“I’m not the one who told a classmate to go take a swan dive off the roof and hope for a quirk in the next life.”

Kacchan looked at a loss for words, but Izuku didn’t care. He didn’t care anymore.

“Even the league of villains thought you were just perfect recruitment material. But no. Mr. Aizawa defended you, yet he stared at me and kept yelling at me that I was the traitor.”

Izuku didn’t even realize when he stood up or had started shouting.

“I can’t take this anymore.”

He grabbed his bag and left not even turning at the pleading “wait, Midoriya” that must have been Mr. Aizawa.

He made it to the dorm, flinging his shoes off carelessly and rushing to his room.

He flung his door open and was about to make it to his bed when he tripped over one of the packed boxes.

His breaths were ragged and his cheeks were wet as he held himself desperately.

Just two more days. Just two more days until he’d go to Shiketsu.

 tbh i fully believe that healthy kids should be getting in some stupid trouble.

like, a child that’s in trouble all the time, frequently skipping school, getting caught doing crimes? that’s a kid that desperately needs literally any positive attention. that kid needs help. obviously.

but a child that is perfectly well-behaved, never speaks up for themself, is seen and not heard? that’s a child that’s afraid. they also need help.
