me: I’m sad, I should watch some B5 to make me feel better
also me: *watches Divided Loyalties*
So Talia reevaluated her beliefs and went through a journey of learning the truth about the Psi Corps and decided to work against them, and went from receiving hostility from Susan to growing close with her, only to have her personality erased by an artificial personality and her life ripped away from her.
people just blame women for anything!! (she took a whole room mentally hostage)

#*@!, do I hate it when people claim that the Talia we've seen all along is fake and the one Lyta brings out is the real one.
Not only is it not what the dialogue says (and, technically, Lyta could be wrong), but it basically cheapens her storyline into oblivion. And totally turns Ivanova's into something else entirely.
Ugh.
Another Babylon 5 pet peeve of mine (maybe I should do a series on those...) and once again it's about Talia:
People claiming we know that Talia's been dissected because Bester told us so.
Because he really is the single most trustworthy character in the history of television. He's even called out for having motive to try and rile them up in the very same scene. But, of course, everyone's favorite good guy Bester would never even dream of lying to achieve that.
Yes, he absolutely could be telling the truth. My point is that we have no way of knowing, meaning we don't have the slightest clue what happened.
Sheesh.
