When I thought I would give my family a chance they turned their backs on me, when I thought things would be different it turned out to be the same, when I was told that I should not worry about what last year's bad outcome it came creeping back to this year. If there's one thing I have learned, it's to stop taking advice from my own family because they are almost always wrong about it.

The horror I experienced last year will not find a way to ruin this year. I refuse to keep letting my birthdays end in me being angry, hurt or disappointed.

Peace of mind is mandatory.
