Thor sees straight through any mask Loki creates, smirking and nudging Loki’s shoulder

You don’t need him to tell you explicitly, you know he loves you just from the way he looks at you

Loki becomes more protective of you, afraid someone will use you to hurt him

He’ll keep a hand around your waist at all times so you’re permanently glued to his side

He likes to stay close to you and press his lips to your hair every once in a while

Having you near calms him down, even your smell is comforting

You first realise he’s madly in love with you the first time the two of you sleep together

He kisses down your body, making sure to keep eye contact with you the whole time

Giving each patch of skin the care and attention it deserves

He eventually admits he loves you, when he’s 100% sure you’ll say it back

He’ll want to make sure he tells you in a proper setting, probably over a romantic meal

And when those three little words leave his lips, it feels as if a weight has been lifted off both of your chests that you didn’t know was there
