Mike inclines his head toward the dance floor. “Shall we?”

Harvey nearly chokes on his drink, “No. I don’t dance.”

“Well that’s a lie. C’mon, everyone here knows you do, we need to make it a show so your brother stops looking at me like I’m a weirdo.”

“You are a weirdo.”

Mike takes the glass from Harvey and sets it on the bar before grabbing Harvey’s hand, “Let’s go.”

Harvey lets himself be pulled along, “I’m leading.”

“Of course you are. I have no idea what I’m doing.”

“You drag me out here and you can’t dance?”

“I can sway.”

“Swaying is not dancing.”

Harvey puts one arm around Mike’s waist and takes his other hand in a light grip holding it against his chest, “Put your left hand on my shoulder.”

Harvey pulls them close together, “Bend your right knee, not like that, like this.” Mike looks down and mirrors Harvey’s stance.

“You move forward as I move backward.” Harvey takes a step back, and Mike follows, then he side steps, and Mike follows, and then he back steps, and Mike follows. “It’s a simple box step waltz. It’s fairly easy to follow.”

Mike makes a few false moves, but then he’s got it and Harvey is leading him around the dance floor to Ella Fitzgerald’s version of Blue Moon.

“You’re not half bad.” Harvey’s smile is genuine and warm and it makes Mike smile in return. They get jostled and Mike ends up pressed tight against Harvey and Mike doesn’t miss the flash of heat that goes through Harvey’s eyes. Mike thinks it’s now or never.

“Your mom is looking at us. We should give her something to see.” Mike’s eyes drop to Harvey’s mouth. Harvey pulls him closer, head angling down and then they’re kissing. One slow, sweet meeting of lips at a time. Once, twice, and then Mike is all in. He slides his hand behind Harvey’s head and pulls him in, his mouth opening to Harvey’s tongue. The arm around Mike’s waist tightens. The weight of Harvey’s tongue in his mouth makes Mike whimper softly as Harvey devours him. The kiss turns deeper than it should for how public they are, but if Marcus still has doubts, Mike thinks those probably flew right out the window.

mike just told harvey he's getting married to rachel. can someone plz watch this (s06e13 about 3:19) and confirm - he sounds fucking sad

harvey/mike/rachel has got to be another insane trio(?) i love in suits. harvey's obvious jealousy/dislike towards rachel in season 1 because his precious associate was busy playing "footsie" with her. rachel's constant - and very valid - resentment towards mike's undying loyalty to harvey, mike prioritising his job ie, harvey, at the same level as, or even above their romantic relationship. rachel and mike working on a case, rachel refers to herself as mike and mike as harvey. mike literally having sex with rachel and then mentioning harvey. mike and rachel nearly getting married - mike leaving her at the altar and harvey taking him to fucking prison. there's probably more but this is all I can remember right now.
